Someone find this hit I'm too lazy to find it. I want to see how dirty it was cause sounds like UCF is straight up trolling.

Quote:I think it happens. I think its two guys getting to the quarterback at the same time and it was on the edge of being late. I don't think it was two guys saying hey, lets go take this guy out

I take issue with the fact that Big John calls Miami's hit dirty, but doesn't say that his teams hit is dirty. If you can't admit that your own team has a dirty hit, you have no room to judge others.

So every time helmets hit it's dirty in your eyes?
Quote:I rewatched the hit your talking about where he rolled out and threw it long to Dalvin Cook. It's a Youtube video...it's close, it was not well after it was released, but I think you would have a hard time finding a ref that would throw a flag on that during the pace of a game. It's a pretty bang bang play. It's definitely a judgment call and can go either way. An FSU fan will say its a late hit and a Miami fan will say its late.
Just watched it myself the ball was long gone well before the contact. You calling it bang bang is laughable. Shoot even the announcers were questioning the no flag.
Now I see why no one wanted to start this thread.
Quote:I am shocked! FSU fan backing up FSU fan. Par for the course here.

Edit: Let me guess, you also think your guy that got kicked out had a clean hit?
You're being blatantly obtuse on this subject. The targeting call was targeting....it has only been stated that it did not appear to be malicious....but yes under current rules still targeting. The hits on Francois were not all legal hits and should have been flagged on more than one occasion. Your blind hate is showing.

They were called for roughing the passer on the Cook touchdown reception.

Yep..

I guess I was thinking of the 2 in the first half that no-calls.
There is nothing homerish about calling this hit dirty.

That is most certainly dirty, though I'm not sure if UCF is saying this was isn't dirty.

You know watching it again it could have also been a targeting penalty....
That hit is way more malicious than some targeting calls I've seen.

The hit the FSU player put on the Miami quarterback is way worse than that hit.  The guy went helmet to helmet.  That was the only parts of their bodies that touched, and even knocked the kids tooth out....but that's not malicious at all, am I right FSU fans? (we'll throw Hail in there because he'll argue with me about anything.)

Lol. Just wow.
Nope both equally bad but keep spinning them wheels.
A guy going head hunting isn't dirty at all, right Big John?

This is the only thing you have?
Is that not where this discussion started?  One is blatantly obvious that the guy went head to head and that was it, the other is a completely subjective call.

It wasn't a subjective call. The referees, announcers and other people in this thread disagree with you. You ever stop to think that you might be wrong about this?
Do you understand what subjective is?

It wasn't subjective.
