Mathew hasn't even passed yet and there are already those seeking to advance an agenda... Sad.

Climate change isn't an agenda. It's real.
Matthew cost me a really good shade tree.

Just like advertising on the weather channel during a natural disaster, it can wait. It can wait.
Why even bother with TWC? Locals have been fantastic. Governor Scott has been amazing

Are you saying it isn't sleazy for HRC to advertise on TWC in an attempt to capitalize on increased viewership due to a natural disaster simply because "locals" should be watching their local news channel instead?

OP didn't mention HRC. You did. She lives in your head.

What does that have to do with this? Like, at all? Go home, StroudCrowd. A tree fell on your head, you passed out and landed in a tub of whiskey, and now you are drunk.

What does it have to do with hurricane Matthew?

The idea would be that as oceans warm we will see more large storms. These storms thrive in warm water so it does seem relevant.

Odd, the last several decades of history don't seem to support that assertion.

^This guy. He gets it.

Right, how long has it been since a storm like this has hit the area?

Several decades seems too hyperbolic...

First, I'm just glad everyone is safe from the storm.

I think there is significant studies that show that the turn of the century has seen recordings and patterns that show there is significant climate change world wide.  From the bleaching of coral reefs, to the increasing temperatures, to the depletion of glaciers...  The fact that things aren't what they were is real.

What we do is up for debate.

Germany is focusing on flipping cars from gas burning to electric.  They are making progress.  What are we doing, exactly?

Assuming climate change is real;

1)  Who is to judge that change is necessarily a bad thing?

2)  Is change inevitable as the world population increases?
