Titans plan to feed Derrick Henry a lot to start season

Derrick Henry rushed for 585 yards in the final four games of the Titans' 2018 season. Head coach Mike Vrabel says he wants to see more out of the workhorse RB to open the 2019 campaign.

....so they want him to be more of an Eddie Lacy type of guy...

They should have been feeding him more carries years ago.

Everybody and their mama knew he couldn’t pass block to start last season. It’s hard to keep a back on the field when you can’t use him on passing downs. It’s hard to be an effective back when everyone knows you are running every snap you’re on the field. He obviously improved a lot as the season went on. I think the coaches worked with him extensively on pre-snap reads as they had him running wildcat, and it helped him a lot.

There's only 1 Horse !!   Pic below of Toby Gerhart running for a few of his TDs.  He made it look so easy.

LMFAO. Remember that home game where they ran him up the middle 3 times in a row and he still couldnt get 1 yard? good times.
