Knox just ran a 4.57 - 4.61  at the Ole Miss Pro Day.  I think this cements him as my TE3 over Irv Smith and a darkhorse for our 2nd round pick.

Hand times aren't always the best but some reporting a 4.52...guess we will see what the official time is.

Could you just imagine if we landed Hockenson AND Knox???
If we dont get Hockenson I'd be good with knox, not in the 2nd though. In the 3rd for sure

Ain't no way he last til the 3rd now...

One of the better blockers and just ran the 3rd best 40 of the TE class.  He is also tested in top 5 of pretty much all of the combine test.

A trade back in to the 2nd maybe?  You think he will be over Sternberger on most boards?

Yes...I think some boards are going to move him over Irv Smith...

He might bring slightly less as a receiver as Sternberger but he is a more dominant blocker.

If you like Hockenson I dont see how you wouldn't like Knox.

If Fant/Hockenson are gone I could see NE grabbing him.
Wow... yeah he good. Did Ole Miss fire their OC from last year yet, BlueEyedJag? I'm not normally one to jump on the terrible playbook bandwagon but it seems criminal how underused Knox was last year!

I suspect that the Jags are working around a plan of first round: OT, second round: TE, third round: RB.

I do like him if the reports are accurate.  Haven't seen much on him really but Hockenson is a really good receiver on top of being a great blocker.  I want a TE that can do both.  I like what I read on him though.  Any clips of him making some great plays? Blocks or catches?

North Carolina hired him from Ole Miss...

He didnt get many targets but was running open often...that is why all OM hated the OC and shell shocked Taamu.

He was always a good blocker and this was just a quick.search.

Was Jags scouts at the Pro Day? I hope so

I don't know for sure but they had enough talent there to draw some attention...the WRs/Knox/Little/Patterson and Taamu probably interest the majority of NFL teams.

You missed the part where he said the WRs.

Gotcha
Yep been saying for a while that if we don't go Hock at 7 we should be taking Knox. I even moved to not having Hock as my top choice at 7 simply because of Knox. Way smaller drop off from Hockenson to Knox than from Oliver/Sweat/Burns/Dillard/Metcalf to their day 2 counterparts.

Looks like he opened up the playbook to 26 total plays now.
