His neck alone can hold up all the other faces.

No RJ Soward or Derrick Harvey?  No dice.

Hugh Douglas, Genes miff,  and Matt Turk are also names worth tossing into that pot(I say turk because his horrendous year helped the genious Gene over look Russel Wilson and draft banger)
What about the legendary TODD BOUMAN or the man behind the chin and amazing 80's porn stache Chad "Chenne" Henne

Henne nah. Bouman only if it's a dramatic sculpture of him on his tractor, answering the Bou-phone as the Bou Signal shines in the sky above.

Chad Freakin' Henne mentored both, Blaine Gabbert and Blake Bortles.  Someday, when they analyze the history of hall of fame QBs, it's all going to come back to the mentoring by Chad Henne.  Kudos for the Jags keeping him out of the hands of the Patriots as Tom Brady continually lobbied their GM to being him to New England for mentoring.

Some honorable mention :

Big John
Stroud

Mike Pete

To not include Brunell in top four is questionable.  You lose all credibilty not including him in your honorable mentions.  The acquisition of Brunell from Green Bay was the single best trade in Jaguars history.

I don't know if I would go that far.  While Mark Brunell was a very good QB for the team he was never really anything special, especially after he got injured.  I recall his "signature move" after his injury being running for the sidelines and throwing the ball away.

Just my opinion, but the only 3 players in the Jaguars' short history to even be considered would be (in no particular order) Fred Taylor, Jimmy Smith and Tony Boselli.

While many of the other past players mentioned were very good and in some cases pro bowel level (as if that means anything in today's NFL) none of them accomplished or meant to the game what the three that I selected did.

Brunell seems like a great QB for the Jaguars because all of our others QB were mediocre/terrible. At the end of the day, Brunell was just an average QB.

For those who don't like Greg Jones in my honorable mentions, I agree that he doesn't deserves a "Mount Rushmore" appearance. But if Fred Tayor and MJD were that good, it's also because Greg was there to open huge holes for them.

Wouldn’t it be

1. Boselli - He was our first ever draft pick. He was the best lineman in the league even above guys like Ogden, Roaf, and Pace. He was squeaky clean off the field. He helped within the community. He also helped ticket sales during our blackout years. Several Pro Bowls and an All Pro.

2. Taylor - Should have won rookie of the year but Moss stole the show. Had 9 straight 100 yard games. Retired ahead of Franco Harris on the all time rushing list, even though he missed over 50 games with injury. No troubles off the field. Went for 190 in basically 2 quarters vs Miami in the playoffs. Was 14th all time when he retired.

3. Smith - 291 yards against the best defense in the NFL at the time and against Chris McCallister who was the best corner. Caught the biggest catch up in Denver to take us to our first ever AFC Championship game. Made Several Pro Bowls. Retired 9th all time. Led the league in receptions with 116 in 1999.

4. Brunell - Led is to 4 straight playoff appearances. Led the league in passing in 1996. Also led all QBs in rushing in that same year. Had a game clinching scramble up in Denver to take us to our first ever AFC title game. Helped out in the community. Was a pro bowl player and MVP. Came back in 1997 to beat Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football. Was always compared to Steve Young. Led us to a franchise best 14-2 record in 1999.

Honorable Mention - Coughlin, Brackens, McCardell, Darius, MJD

I didn’t include Campbell bc he spent more years with the Cardinals than us. And I didn’t include Ramsey bc he hasn’t played long enough. I also didn’t put MJD on the list bc Taylor’s resume is just better.

You can only pick 4 and owners are not allowed.

I submit there will be an offensive bias, and there at least should be a defensive  Mount Rushmore .

If a defensive Rushmore...

Brackens
Stroud
Mathis
Ramsey

Poz? Big Hen? Darius? Bryce Paup?
Darius - hardest hitting safety that nobody knew about. Knocked out Ferguson. Went head up with Bettis several times. Pretty good ball skills for a SS.

Brackens - Most sacks overall. Pro Bowl back in 1998. Helped bust open the playoff game vs Miami at home. Best second round pick ever, arguably.

Ramsey - already the best CB we’ve ever had. Just hasn’t had time to put up numbers like Mathis. He may not ever bc QBs will shy away from him.

Mathis - I remember he had Pittsburgh’s number when he played against them. He has picked off some great QBs. He was always healthy. Had a league high 8 picks back in 2006 I believe.

Just missed the cut - Stroud, Henderson, Poz, Hardy.
