It Does and we still have the same idiot coaching the team. Lets hope this new OC knows how to make adjustments at halftime and will not let the HC curl up in a fetus position and try and run the clock out with the lead.

Morten's miss was always my favorite play since we were in the NEZ when it happened.

The other two are both from the Miami 62-7 drubbing in hte playoffs.   Naturally, Freddy T's run with the last block by Jimmy was #1, BUT in that same game, we saw Bryce Paup make his most memorable play a as a Jaguar.  Tony Brackens strip sack fumbe recovery ending in a TD never would have happened if Bryce Paup hadn't picked Brackens up and told him no whistle was blown so run for the endzone.  I always remember that play because Brackens was completely unaware and kind of stumbled his way into the endzone.  Both of those plays are highlited in this video.

It's amazing how much hate and hostility Brackens got from Jaguars fans for that play.

Even if he never made it into the end zone on the play, he still destroyed LT Richmond Webb, sacked Marino, forced the fumble and recovered it.

When he's face down and on the ground, he has no way of knowing who is on top of him.  99 times out of 100 (or more), that would be the end of the play.

This is my list too in any order. the 90 yard TD in 99 would be my #1 play. The other 1 that gets honorable mention is the hail mary pass at the buzzer, due to cool factor. Plus we beat the tacks with it so it was a nice miracle win vs a division rival.

We beat the Texans with the Hail Mary, not the tacks.

I'll always remember the Clyde pick against Buffalo. We were watching on my patio and the entire neighborhood sounded like the stadium on that play.

But I'd have to say it's either Morten Andersen's missed FG, or the fade from Brunell to Jimmy Smith against Denver in 1996.

Something about if there was any difference between preparing for a playoff game and a regular season game.  Dave Widell was the guest that night. 

I basically just wanted to get on TV.

That was a damn important play.  His pick turned the game around.

True, I was at work and was literally watching the highlight lmao.... I guess my hatred for them runs so deep I wish it were them!

There has been a lot of great plays over the years. And a lot of memories. I never really cared much for the passing game, big name receivers and blonde bombers of the NFL. I always had a love and appreciation for the running game, battle of the trenches with the big uglies on both sides trying to opening lanes and shut down lanes respectively. My favorite positions in football are Middle Linebacker on defense and Runningback on offense. Always have been.

So I always had a soft spot for #28 here. Fred Taylor was and still is my favorite athlete of all time. The Steelers game and 90 yard run will always be burned in my memories. But nothing topped this image below for me. When he trucked Doss and looked back at him on the way to the end zone to put the game away. Just a great moment. Great finish.

So many of his runs come to mind. That one was key. 



this one has become emblematic of his style:

Another play that stands out for me is David Garrard scrambling in Pittsburgh on 4th & 2 with a trip to the AFCC on the line. He had a pretty rough day passing it but he comes up with a monster 30+ yard scramble that allowed us to crush the clock and get Scobee into a GW FG attempt.

I skimmed so apologies if its been said but:
MJD running into the back of our OL falling and then getting up and running down the field for a TD was pretty epic.

IIRC it was v the Pats too.
Which is always nice.


OR the block he threw on Shawn Merriman in San Diego that allowed DG to toss that beauty to Lewis for a TD.

Not plays in playoffs or anything but those are the plays that remind me of some fun times as a fan and a team that had a real identity. Tough on both sides.
