Mostly a lurker these days. I'm surprised I haven't seen any love for this 3 down middle linebacker.

I wouldn't be upset if we got him. Not the biggest need but I wouldn't be too upset about the pick.

I would be very upset if they took a LB at 7.

Especially if Hock, Oliver and Sweat are still on the board.

While I am hoping for Hockenson, I'd have to say that I'm intrigued by a Myles, Telvim and Devin linebacker trio. Would be the fastest LB trio in the NFL. Would improve us against run and in covering RBs and TEs. Also while helping our blitzing packages. Would love to have him against the Titans.

I think the most important thing for White would be leadership. Nothing better than a true All Pro leader at MLB. Like a Lewis, Willis, Kuechly, Urlacher, Wagner etc..

That said, do I want him at 7? No, but I wouldn't hate it if we got a 2nd for Telvin. Oak might be willing to give their 2nd rounder

Off ball LB is the last position we need

I'm a huge fan and have pounded the table for our need at MLB in a few threads. With that said, I don't believe he is a top ten talent or the best available player of need.

If Telvin and/or Jack didn't exist then sure, but they do.

Yea no one plays 3 LBs anymore :/

For the vast majority of the game this is true. Building up our base defense when it was one of the best in football last year would be an odd move at #7

This. Myles Jack is just as gifted athletically and he’s already on the roster. Also, no one is going to give the Jags the same value that Telvin brings to the defense this year. Jacobs in year two will probably step up his game. LB is not a weakness.

And I understand the Devin White love. Having him and Jack as your LBs the next 6 years would be a ton of fun, just not a pathway we should go down
