As much as I would like Hockenson this is about as good as you would hope for a jags draft.  Get one of the best players in the draft to make the dline even better than it was last year and possibly the year before . A starting RT in the 2nd, a starting FS in the 3d, and a starting caliber RB in the 3rd that could push LF for his starting job.  Moreau is good value in the 4th as well.  Would love this draft

Just realized Braden Smith has 32 1/4 inch arms and he had a good rookie season at RT and played guard in college. McGary has arms a little bit longer arms and has played RT his whole college career. Makes me feel a lot better about McGary arm length, that was my only worry
Would be pretty hard to find many complaints in that draft.

Really the only thing you could question is what would they do with Bryan. You'd have to hope Oliver could be the eventual replacement for Campbell, otherwise we're basically wasting last year's 1st round draft pick.
Fine with it B+
Love it
Other than the McGary pick, I didn't like it. D-Line is not a need, Thompson had games where he just flat out got beat and Moreau is a far cry from Hockenson. On top of all of that, he didn't even give us an OG, which IMO, is probably one of our top 2 needs.

I give it a solid B.

What would we do with Bryan, you ask?   We need 8 guys to play those 4 positions.   Whether Bryan is a starter or not, backup defensive linemen often play as much as the starters.
Oliver/McGary is on the short list of my dream first two rounds. Thompson is fine but Jenkins and Butler were there in the third, either of those instead would have made this an A+ draft.
Not sure Thompson would be there.

Savage is the more likely safety at 69, and may be the better pick, imo.

I’d go with Hill or a similar c.o.p.RB in the 6th over that receiver choice.

I think Savage goes before Thompson.  The upside is there with Thompson but he got exposed in a few games last year.  Just look at the Clemson game for example.  Harrison is better than Thompson and he fell to the 3rd
Yeah Savage should go ahead of Thompson. Decent draft, don't like Trayveon Williams there

William's will be one of the best backs from this class?

I prefer other backs

There are about 5 backs for me that I like.  That's the hardest position in this draft for me to pick a clear cut favorite.

Harris, William's, Henderson, Jacob's, Thompson, Montgonery, Hill.  Would be happy with any of them.  I'll just take which ever one falls.  Personally I'd wait till the 4th or 6th but I'd be happy if the draft fell that way
I'd love Sanders in the 3rd but it sounds like he's probably becoming close to a lock for the 2nd now.

Can throw Sanders in there too but I wouldn't take him in the 3rd.  Definitely not in the 2nd

Ideal would be Thompson making it to the 6th

Henderson and Sanders are #1 and #2 for me. Then some combination of Montgomery, Jacobs , Mattison, Hill, Thompson etc etc

I don't think I love anyone enough to take them with the first 3rd rounder either, better to just see who's there in the 4th, and maybe the 6th nobody has been taken
First off, no way 4 QBs go in the first 10. Also, if Haskins is still available when the Jags pick, Jags will be hard pressed not to engineer a decent trade down with a desperate team (like Denver) and still get a great OL, TE, or WR.

As for the rest, there always seemed to be a better player behind who we have mocked to us in each round. I don't think it's the worst mock draft, I just think it's completely unrealistic.
Dave drafted Yeldon in the 2nd, Harris is better than Yeldon and there is a slim chance we might be able to get him in the 3rd. Harris is crazy underrated imo, don't even get mentioned with the top backs anymore and he might be the best one
