He always sounds a bit high.

That being said, he has a year of no drug tests.
Poppin dem pills. Blue and yellow purple. Them smileys, Blue dolphins, and green omegas
Telvin Smith will never play another down in a Jaguars uniform.
This team just cant get through an off season quietly.

I'm sad for Telvin and hope whatever the issue is that he can get help for it. It's a bit concerning hearing the Jags not having contact and their statement sounds like this was news to them too.

I get there are bigger things than football but football also gave him all the good things he now has. I hope we see him back, I love Telvin, hes a captain and a leader.

But I have a worrying feeling that hes done.
He’s done
Damn. This franchise is cursed.
He is gonna kick himself if the Jags make it to the Superbowl.
Can he choose to come back midseason or nahh
Justin Blackmon 2.0 bad memories with all the potential but chose not to play. I do not know his situation but can't judge but it stinks.

How in the hell is he a leader? Million of people have problems. He is a quitter, not a leader. His problems clearly aren't severe enough to keep him off social media.

It hasn't stopped you posting either.

Just to clarify, let's say Telvin has experienced some severe CTE like symptoms, what would you propose he do?

If they place him on the NFI list, the rules are the same as the PUP meaning he could potentially return midseason.

Retire from the game.
Some of the [BLEEP] brilliance in this thread is astounding.

Announce it, retire, bring awareness. Stop speculating.
it's amusing half of u are still saying stuff about his health. there is no issue with his health or someone would have said it. watch that IG video, ya boy just doesnt want to play, he's a quitter.
1.) I hope he gets better, player first.

2.) Big picture, u don't want an off the ball linebacker making that amount of money. If this helps us sign yannn and Ramsey then it's a plus not a minus.

3.) Quincy williams watched over special needs nuns in a former life.

You got 4 good seasons out of a 5th round pick.  You got no good seasons out of a guy you traded up to take 5th overall......

So far Telvin has well out-produced expectations as a 5th round pick. He certainly earned his current big contract, but his drop-off this past season combined with a year off of football may translate to him having to accept a pay cut should he return in 2020.

Hey Pillsbury doughboy, get lost.  When did you get your psychology degree.  Clue us in on who would have told us.  What a schmuck.
