As bad of a season Cole had last year and after getting moved down on the depth chart because of drops he still had almost 500 yards. Said it a while back, I think Cole will be the player this year we expected him to be last year. I think he got that sophomore slump out of the way

I have a feeling you might be right but with some caveats. He's definitely talented. Besides Westbrook, he's the only receiver who seems to regularly get separation. He's also capable of making spectacular circus catches that would make OBJ jealous. His problems are consistency and avoiding critical turnovers. He has a chance (albeit a small chance) to be a true difference maker. But if it's going to happen for him, this is the year he needs to happen.

  1. Dede Westbrook - starting flanker, possibly slot WR in 3-WR sets if Lee is out
  2. DJ Chark - starting split-end
  3. Chris Conley - backup split-end
  4. Marqise Lee - primary slot WR if healthy (may start season on PUP)
  5. Terrell Pryor - backup flanker, red-zone threat
  6. Keelan Cole  - makes roster if Lee goes on PUP
  7. CJ Board - challenge to Cole for possible last spot
  8. Michael Walker - candidate for KR/PR, challenge to Cole for possible last spot
  9. Tyre Brady - candidate for PS
  10. Dredrick Snelson - candidate for PS
  11. Raphael Leonard - candidate for PS

CJ Board. I couldn't find enough highlights to warrant him bumping the roster. YouTube is not my friend.

I'm relatively confident in Dede, and think Cole will be our #2 this year but not confident in the group being a good one as whole.

Don't think we have a high level QB either, unless you just mean higher level than Blake
Dude you’re nuts. Foles is a beast and a Super Bowl MVP

NF7 isn't "a beast". He's an consistent QB that manages his opportunities. He has successfully, in Philly, prevailed due to the surrounding talent to which helped him reach his MVP Status. He's an manager of the game and if we the Jaguars can surround him w/said talent, he will prevail. BUT he's NOT A BEAST.

Don't you think they'll keep 6 receivers?

I think they will and I think Cole is one of them regardless of Lee's status.

I can maybe see a 6th if a guy say makes it as the punt or kickoff return guy. Maybe Michael Walker? But I don't think they keep a guy who doesn't contribute on STs.  I'm not sure if Cole contributes or not, but I don't recall him doing anything on Teams.

With his accuracy, poise and clutchness, I'd say Foles is more than just a game manager, although BEAST might be a tad over-the-top.
