How about we not fund either one and put that money into the damn VA instead?
Congress won't even show up to fund the 9/11 victims fund. They are literally useless.

Sure. If you can get Congress to pass anything that doesn't have to do with some sort of social justice reform or infrastructure, do it.
The only thing that has gone down is a slight tax code reform, a huge spending bill or two, and some criminal justice reform, that I imagine most of us don't know jack pappy about.
Think Congress will come to work to get something done for the VA?
