Promotion favourites Fulham suffered a blast of Championship reality with a shock opening-weekend 1-0 loss at Barnsley.
Former Derby midfielder Luke Thomas struck a debut goal for the hosts to stun Scott Parker's Fulham, back in the Championship after a solitary Premier League campaign.
I am interested to see what he does with the place. Being right on the river like that, i could see it turning into a pretty cool venue.
Locking down the striker was the best thing they could have done given the situation. He may not get all the credit he deserves in the prem, but he was a monster in the championship league iirc.
I have accidentally clicked on this thread. I see Kahns team was relegated. Figures, this would have happened to the jags also if there was such a thing here.
Fulham doing well at the moment, currently 3-1 and in third place in the competition.

Yep, I was getting my hopes up only to fall to Nottingham Forest. That loss to pathetic Barnsley is going to haunt them as well as Leeds and Swansea have jumped out to a good start. I'm thinking, at best, we are left fighting for that #3 thru #6 playoff spot
Fulhams retro line of gear is

Sweet !!!

Quick update on Fulham FC: They had a tough stretch but have now won four in a row. They're in third place, at most 5 points behind the #2 spot. The top two teams at the end of the season gain direct promotion to the Premier League.
