Of all the players on offense and defense, I think I am most intrigued by Harrison. He could be an absolute force out there this year.

The only thing that gives me pause about that is it takes him out of coverage.
On the other hand, I remember the Steelers used to blitz Rod Woodson with much success.
I remember Damon Jones telling me the reason the defense timed their blitzes so well under Capers is because they practiced it. Of course, he was in a far better position to know than I. But I can't help but think there's a little more to it than that. Don't ask me to say what that is.

Lots of clips, including QW.
What I notice in these clips is some excellent ball placement by Foles. Those throws to Swaim were beautiful. I know Oliver is not going to be ready at all to block, but man it’s disappointimg to see him get steamrolled. Hopefully after cuts we can pick up a decent all around TE. I can’t imagine Oliver being on the field that much other than 3rd down if he is that bad at blocking.
I'm not worried about his blocking. He's an F tight end. The Y and the H guys do the lion's share of blocking. The F does the least. His main job is to be a chess piece that can be moved around the formation to create mismatches in the passing game.
So I just want to see him clean up his route running. If he gets that together he'll be fine in this offense.

Agreed completely.
I noticed on many of the red zone passes attacked the very back of the end zone. I wonder if that is a philosophical preference, or if Foles' accuracy emboldened these calls?
I'd say a philosophical preference given DeFillipos role as the red zone coordinator in Philly.
I guess attacking the back let's you expand the size of the red zone a bit and gives you more room for improvisation

True. It’s not that I’m worried about his blocking, we knew he was going to struggle there. I was expecting him to be somewhat useful so it doesn’t make the offense predictable (if he is on the field, likely a pass play). I guess what to expect this year is maybe something to how Evan Engram is used for the Giants. Optimistically in a year or two he is a Jimmy Graham clone hopefully.
