Kind of what you expect with Flip showing very little of the playbook.  Cam Robinson looked good but they pulled him pretty quickly to be safe. Richardson looked pretty good at RG but got flagged twice.

Westbrook looked good.
LF had two good runs, one good catch and run, the rest was meh from him.

cam wasn't pulled from game tonight. he did accuttly get hurt. hopefuly its a miner injury.

Incorrect. He was pulled.
His replacement, Ogbuehi, left with a hamstring issue.
If you're going to start threads about how terrible the offense and coach are, you probably should know what actually happened in the game first.

I think it’s time to consider giving Wolfie a “time out” and a break from the board.
This is how you draft an edge rusher in the top 10. Not Tyson Alualu, Derrick Harvey, or even Fowler. I thought it was cool to see the Jags deploy a 3-4 look on one of those plays. Haven't seen that since... well, Dom Capers when I was a young'n.
So good. DROTY good.
Its premature to heap on such accolades after one game against a bad team.

This is what I am thinking trying to temper my enthusiasm over what I have seen from him so far.

For the offense, like this was their first pre-season game. I question keeping the starters out of the first two games but I guess that's the thing now. The OL weren't opening many running lanes and there were what looked like a few timing issues. The defense will probably return to '17 form (maybe better).

It was your typical LF night. If he gets the ball with plenty of space to build momentum he is scary. If the contact comes before he gets 5 yards or so to build up steam then he goes down shockingly easily. And as usual, just forget about him making someone miss.
I am so stoked this dude is playing for the Jaguars

Watching him last night was an absolute pleasure. You gotta believe, too, that he's only going to get better with time and play

Yea what is he talking about???

Cam was pulled from the game, even Marrone said it in the post game and it was also said in the pre-game that he would only get few snaps.

I just ignore it at this point. I fully expect every post to be glaringly inaccurate, misguided, or bologna.

I don't think any of that qualifies for moderation, but it feels like my interactions with my son - I know we've been over this time and time again, but nothing changes. After a while, you just give up, and hope someone else can get through.
Talk about carry overs from college

Josh Allen racked up 42.5 tackles for loss and 31 sacks in his 42 games with Kentucky.

Taven Bryan racked up 10.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in his 30 games with the Gators.

Looks like production is continuing in a similar manner.
You guys still wanna pay Yan $100 mil when we got Khalil Mack 2.0 on the team? Yannick can't drop into coverage like Allen and is a liability vs the run.

There is a reason why coaches and GM's all over the league are always saying "you can't have too many pass rushers."

I don't disagree, but he did make one nice cutback when he actually spotted a lane between the tackle and guard. He was headed to the left sideline and cutback for a nice gain. Rare flash of vision there. Hope we see more.

So who do you plan to play on left side?  Campbell is most likely in his last year here unless they reconstruct.  You don't let premium rusher like Yann walk, specially since he's the guy you drafted and has his best years still in front of him...

Take the team out of the conversation and break his performance down to Mano a Mano and his performance was nothing short of dominate. Truly impressive.

It's no different than the people who are extreme the other way calling 1st year players busts. It's one game, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
What double team? Man's man...

Westbrook is going to be a go to guy for Foles.. perhaps too much so. OLine looked good but I don't know if it's us being good or Miami being atrocious. Took their starters 2 quarters to score against 2nd and 3rd team defense.

Miami's defense has played pretty well in preseason so I was happy to see our oline played well against them. Now their offensive line is really bad so the total domination by our defense is what you want to see against a poor line.

You may be right about Bryan. Allen looks better than any other edge rusher I have seen this preseason.  Now I know Miami has a poor oline but I don't think anyone expected that performance from a rookie.
