All I give you to go on is text. 
I was at work the day of the inauguration. I put one of the network streams on my computer and listened to it in the background, to see if anything unexpected happened. Later while I was getting lunch I saw one of the TVs hanging up on the wall at the restaurant showing Obama and Trump walking together and then going their separate ways with their separate military escorts. I didn't feel anything, I didn't say anything. 
But I was convinced that it would not take long for other Republicans to start calling Trump out on his BS, and that Pence would be president in short order.
I'm not disappointed in voters. I knew all along that most voters in both parties were ignorant.
I'm not disappointed in Trump. I knew all along that he was also ignorant.
I'm not disappointed that he is President. Other countries have had worse Presidents, and recently too. The Philippines and Venezuela are two obvious examples.
My disappointment rests on the Republicans in Congress, who, could have put Trump in his place and replaced him with someone who sees politics as more than trolling people on Twitter.
My second child was born in 2016. but it was until late 2017 when I realized that the Republicans really weren't going to dispose of Trump, and I realize that I really wasn't going to be able to tell them that the president of the United States sets an example of behavior and dignity for all of us to follow.
But if you think that this revelation had me ranting in the streets you're wrong. I just sulked for a day or so and moved on.

No, I go through my day and do my work just like anyone else.
You're deluded to think you can know my mood when you don't even read my comments until hours after I post them, and you never see my face, and you have no idea what my background is.

Personally, I think the kvetching I hear from Trump enthusiasts about how the Russia investigation was an attempted coup is much more over the top and whiny. But that's just how it comes across to me. I'm experienced enough to know that how I feel when I read something is not necessarily what the person writing it felt.
