Quote:Was he at fault for that long TD?  The announcer kept saying so but you cant really be sure if you dont know what the defensive play call was.

That is why I said it was his fault. Trent Green said it.
Quote:Those are going to happen, especially for a rookie.  They were talking about it during the game and said that the colts ran the same play earlier in the game and he bit on it, but they didn't go to that receiver.  The next time they ran it, he did the same thing and the end result was a big play.  It happens.  But, overall, the kid has lived up to expectations.  Wait until he actually starts to see the game slow down for him.

Yes, it sounded to me like Green was calling it a rookie mistake.
He gets Alshon Jeffrey and then Amari Cooper after the bye so we'll see how he does against those 2. Ramsey's size/speed/toughness is something special.

Cooper or Crabtree?  I think I would rather see him on Crabtree the way he has been playing.  3 TDs just today
Quote:Wash said it was miscommunication on his part. Probably coach speak though.

Could be, although he threw "a young man" under the bus when Poz gave up that long catch against Benjamin.
Ramsey learned a lesson today that didn't cost the team a win. If he's as good mentally/physically as we the fans predict, learning session completed...

NH3...
He is a shutdown corner.

Period.

I didn't like how Trent Green tried to pin that blown coverage on him. On the replay it seemed pretty obvious that Gipson should have taken the deep man. Ramsey was shading outside and picked up the corner route and for some reason Gipson thought he should chase after that and let Dorsett jog down the seam wide open.

This was my take as well. Ramsey was outside 3rd and went with the corner route like like he was supposed to. Gipson was the single high in the middle and should have taken the slot WR running the fly.

On the radio, they made it seem it should of been Gibson as well

If you watch that video, that play could not possibly have been Poz's fault.   They were in a zone defense, and Benjamin was not in Poz's zone when that ball was caught.   Not even close.   So it is absolutely not true that Poz "gave up that long catch to Benjamin."   It was Gratz who played man when everyone else played zone, and Gratz followed his man across the field, leaving his zone empty.
I don't care what anyone calls him.

He's good.  Really good.

With Colvin coming back and Johnson looking pretty good, I wonder if Gratz gets released this week?  They could probably use the roster spot to sign a TE.

What Heroic said. ^  It really looked like they were in zone and Gipson didn't pick up the fly.

Crabtree had a big day but Cooper is their #1. I wouldn't mind Ramsey taking Crabtree in the red zone though.
The safety in the midde of the field bit on the corner route that ramsey covered, to me it looked like the saftey's fault.. either way our roomie corner was shadowing hilton and shut him down.. hiltons td and 1 other cath was while ramsey was in zone on a different side.

Extremely impressive thi kid is lockdown
All I know is we aren't suppose to have players like this Wink

Crabtree is their #1 WR, either way though he will be on one and Prince will be on the other unless one goes in the slot in I have faith in Colvin

Cutting Gratz frees up one spot for Colvin. There is no additional spot after that for adding a TE.

Hopefully after the bye we will get Julius Thomas and Marcedes Lewis back.
Is Gratz shutdown

He was inactive for the London game.  Johnson jumped him on the depth chart and played pretty well at nickel.
