Back to his 'natural position' following the Jadeveon Clowney trade, Whitney Mercilus has produced from the start this season and is excelling opposite J.J. Watt.

Lets not get too excited. He's faced a guy who never played LT in his life in Week 2

He did have 5 tackles, 1 sack, and a interception against the Saints.. js.

Without Clowney he's back to playing the role he played in 2015 when he had 12 sacks.

I've always thought that Mercilus was a better player than Clowney and is arguably better than Watt now.

Another game... another 5 tackles and another strip sack..

Btw.. Clowney only has one sack and 5 tackles this season.
