I don't think he got in and one thing you have to look at is, if you are assuming he extended the ball, the problem is, if you watch the replay, the ball came loose when he started to extend it, and that's why he actually didn't extend it.
Watch the replay. The ball comes loose when he starts to extend it, so he re-gathered the ball and by that time he was stopped.

I think there's a very good chance the ball broke the plane.

Yea if I was a betting man, I think he actually made it. For some reason they only had a camera from one goaline pylon and you couldnt see the ball because of how Fournette's body was turned. But even if they had a camera on the other pylon, I'm not sure we could have seen because of that Texan player straddling the goaline to Fournette's right. But based on where the ball was in his arms, the fact that he did extend, and that part of his body was over the goaline for a brief moment, my bet is the tip of the ball technically crossed. Just not enough angles to prove it.

combine the video of the texans playing basically standing in the endzone with this photo of Fourentte reaching the ball out, again, I'd bet he made it. Just not enough definitive proof.
No, look at the lower picture. The ball is loose. That's why he failed to extend it into the end zone.

Maybe someone with better editing skills can capture it.
He wasn't in.. The camera that had the shot parallel to the goal line showed that he was out.
He was in but they're going to go with the call on the field most of the time in that situation.

He's already been contacted by the safety in this still, thus the ball was beyond that point (and likely secure) before this contact you've captured.

dont forget hitting the punters planted leg while kicking leg is in the air is autmaticlly 15 yrd roughing kicker penalty they callled wrong sunday
which the moron declined the 5 yard rekick fire morone
you don't rekick that unless the P shanked the heck out of it or the receiving teams has a whopper of a return.
Our guys were the ones sprinting downfield in coverage, so now you want them to repeat that while catching their breath, and risking a longer return? Nah.

1 gazillion percent.
I'd argue that aside from defense, Logan
the asplosion Cooke was an absolute key factor to us being competitive in that game down the stretch.

No, what I saw when I was watching the replay on Sunday was that his hand came forward without the ball, because he lost his grip when he tried to extend it. His hand then retracts to regain control of the ball, and by that time, he was stopped. He never extended the ball.

I'll take your word for it.
I rewatched it on gamepass and didn't see it, but it's entirely possible.
Ryquell Armstead needs some carries. Only 1 run for 7 yards after 2 games.
I think he may have just broken the plane but I cant see how they could overturn whatever was called on the field. If they had called it in, that probably would have stood.
I can't be too angry as we got damn lucky with that 4th and 1 review earlier on that drive. I dont think Fournette got that one.

7 ypc! Feed him!
the worse thing is he has only been in the game for <5 plays and I think may actually be 2 plays

From what I saw, as he starts to extend his arms the ball jostles out of his right hand and down his right forearm which makes him pull back and regather the ball.
100% would've broken the plane if he would've reached across with the ball secured in both hands.
