Just sat down on the train on my way home from the game. Yannick is what I'd call a playmaker. He's one of those guys that comes up big pulling an int or forcing a fumble. Really like him and Fowler.

Myles Jack looks real good too, he should be starting every game now.
Quote:The 64-yard score where Ramsey totally messed up, yes.

Not Hilton and also not Ramsey fault.
I think the play was a giant miscommunication error. I think Ramsey thought Gipson was over the top and Wash even said he didn't call the play properly. Things like that lose you games. We were lucky.

3 sacks, 3 FFs, 1 INT going into week 5?

Making a very, very strong case for DROTY early on. The Jaguars haven't seen that type of production from a pass rusher since some of us were in elementary school

Quote:Gotta give Fowler props too.  He's always in the backfield.

Props to Day in his debut.

To be fair a lot of those are because he's jumping off sides and costing the Jaguars five free yards.

Fowlers doing his job well.
Day was explosive against the run. Very happy with his performance.
If Yannick plays 16 games this year I think he'll get better. Fowler is so passionate and has a great motor. I wonder if he's fully recovered from his injury?

Those two guys are producing like the Allen Bros in 2015. Way above what their career averages will be but it's awesome to watch.
We have a pass rush!!!!!! Both Yannick and Dante are good and that's just weird.
It's a pleasure to watch him play so far. He gives tremendous effort every single play. You can see him chasing down a running back after he's rushing the passer.

I even had a friend text me and say "that #91 is a beast"
Also of note... I know the Colts O line is bad, but Luck has never been sacked 6 times before.
Pretty awesome he's leading the league in FF (tied with Irvin)
The pass rush today was certainty a welcome change of pace. Hopefully they can continue to haunt the Colts in the games to come.

Much cheaper too
Give credit where due. Malik is giving interior O-lines all they can handle. This is allowing the DEs to get home.
Quote:Apparently Ngakoue had another forced fumble this game according to ESPN.

Nagkoue's stat line this game: 4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1 PD, 1 INT. Damn.

Ngakoue's stat line through his first 4 games:

10 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 FFs, 1 INT, 1 PD

Ngakoue playing like a #force player. In fact, I bet Ngakoue leads rookies in sacks and FF's.
Easily leads all rookies in sacks and FF right now.

He has 3 of each and the next highest rookie only has 1 of each.
Ngakoue and Fowler Jr. feeds off of one other. When you see one (making a play) you see the other. It's as if they're competing for individual success instead of team success which is good in my opinion. One good thing to have...

NH3...

I noticed that they clearly feed off each other, but what I love is, just about every time somebody on the DL makes a play, it seems like Fowler is usually the first person there to congratulate said person.

He plays with that fire, just like Telvin and Ramsey. Something we've lacked on this team for a long time.

Both players were in the wrong spot.

We were not lucky. We earned the win. Enjoy it.

Yannick does not need to play all 16 games to get better. It is already happening. Only an injury can keep him out of a game.

Fowler is healthy and playing well. His problem is penalties.

He really is. I just wish he had a name that was easy to spell and pronounce.

And they were all in the first half. Unfortunately Colts fans are going to downplay it by using the injury excuse because an OL stayed home. We know better than that.

They work together on plays. There is no competition for individual success when they are doing different things on the same play.
