and haven't spent my hard earned dollars on another jersey since...
if I do, it'll likely be a retired great like Freddy T or MJD
but maybe.... just maaaaybe I'll go with Minshew if it looks like he'll be around for awhile. Seems like a good dude that won't [BLEEP] on the franchise in any way. Just don't wanna buy it yet in case he never fully develops into a STARter
I have had a Fournette 2017 jersey before but I sold it when the new ones came out, two reasons, one it’s old but two, and the most important reason, I am only going to wear a jersey with a player on it who demonstrates good character and Fournette was not that last year.
However, then comes my dilemma, I want a teal jersey but who’s name and number do I wear;
Ramsey - well he’s gone now
Fournette - still not enamoured by his character
Minshew - Great lad but not sure how long he sticks around
Foles - Again may not be around long
Ngakoue - could be gone next season
Campbell - a true great but again could be gone
Allen - too early to tell but the most likely.
I have always liked the RB and TE position but no ones takes my fancy at those positions.
Fred Taylor and MJD. I said to myself I would buy a Ramsey jersey if we made the SB in '17, obviously never happened. Only one I would consider buying at this point would be Minshew, but it'll be a couple of years, assuming he lives up to the hype.

I did the same thing. I bought a Leftwich jersey, and a month later, he was cut.
4 days man....FOUR DAYS. Got it on ebay and it arrived less than a week before he was cut. I was FURIOUS. Pretty sure I gave it to goodwill before I moved. After that, I always updated my jersey to #5 (it was my HS number) and whatever type jersey we are wearing at the time.

I've said it before, I think buying jerseys is an enormous waste of money. If you have ONE, that's enough. Put the $$ into your Roth IRA instead and watch it grow tax-free. When you retire, you'll basically have $100- a week to play with or you'll have a bunch of stupid jerseys to look at (you won't, they'll be trashed long before that).
Now get off my lawn.

Looking to get a new current one. Thinking about getting Minshew if he keeps showing us that he's the QB of the future.
Back in early September 2002, I ordered a white and a teal #9 David Garrard jersey from the NFL Shop. First ones they made. I know this because they asked me to spell his name for their database and then the jerseys were delayed because they had to make up the larger, single number "9" for the QB jersey.
Still got 'em and still wear them. Garrard is my all time favorite player in any sport.

Jerseys are expensive and put more money into millionaires and billionaires pockets.
I wouldn't harp on someone for buying em, it is your money to do with what you wish.
But to think it is a good investment of your money is foolish.
You shouldn't hate on a guy who is smart with his money.
