Pretty true.  My sister and brother-in-law moved to Colorado a few years ago (Denver to be exact).  They moved out to Colorado springs for pretty much what that graphic shows.  The city is far too liberal and is getting out of control much like LA, San Francisco, Detroit, Chicago, etc.

Both of them are true "middle of the aisle" politically.  Much like myself they voted for Trump because it was "anybody but Hillary" for them.  Neither one of them are what I consider "conservative" or "right leaning".  However, they both reject the left-leaning socialist agenda that seems to have infected the democrat party.

It's hard to find "middle of the road" in Colorado.
Boulder has attracted the extreme left wing people and Colorado Springs has attracted extreme right wing people, and those two drown out the voices of others.

Imagine if Gainesville was nationally known for being extremely liberal while Tallahassee was extremely not.  It would dominate our conversation too.
