I think Shad has a W/L number in mind (read my sig). I think Gus will be terminated if/when he is mathematically unable to achieve that number.

This is a good point. I can certainly see this as being the case, especially the strong business man that Shad is and the mentality associated. He may even choose to make that announcement himself.
