-Loser coaches sure, Olsen has never stuck anywhere, Gus was a product of Pete Carroll, and Wash is some guy from NDSU that Gus promoted because "buddies".

-Shad Kahn and Mark Lamping are proven winners in life. Sure they might not know on the field football, that is where Caldwell and his coaching staff he hired are supposed to take over.

-The players are anything but losers though, they want to win and they want to win bad. The only player that I have major concerns about right now is Blake Bortles. QB is the #1 position to need at the very least to have routine, steady, and consistent play. You don't need Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning, but you need a solid contributor there. In the last two games he hasn't even been that, his mechanics are the worst I have seen them(his college films looks better to me) and his throwing motion is erratic and long, causing wobbly balls and off target throws when you pair them up with his footwork.  He is the single most important piece on this team going forward, and he has 13 games to prove to us he can be the guy at QB, otherwise we are back to square 1 at that position.

EDIT: To answer your question, I see us with a contributor at QB(Bortles, or a new QB), and a winning team with a new head coach pushing to make it to a Superbowl. There is no reason to think this young roster can't compete with the best this league has to offer with exceptional coaching and sound execution.

I used to see them from the stands; but nowadays, I see them from my 65" 4K Samsung.  I do not expect to upgrade my TV within the next 3 years.

In 3 years.... BLACKMON will be back!!!!!!

With the Browns competing FOR THE SUPE... worst team in the NFL.

Not sure where the Jags will be in 3 years but as long as she's here, I'm aight

Only a matter of time till Gus screws up more talent.

Wait, Is that Gus in the black hat making halftime adjustments? Thanks Gus!!
2 years into the next rebuild and asking ourselves the same questions?

Quote:My personal take.

- The whole program is a joke.  We have loser players and loser coaches that has just kinda been accepted.  I see a whole new coaching staff and a bunch of new players.

-Blake Bortles will not be our starting QB!  I like bortles athletic ability and I like his toughness.  That be said he is on par with Tim Tebow on throwing ability.  I really hope I am wrong but don't know if all his issues can be fixed.   Mechanics and accuracy are major problems

-We will be winners.  All the high price free agents and high drafted players will result in more wins with a good head coach.  I am hoping we are close to elite at this point

-PLaying 2 games in london.  Khan likes all that extra revenue.  I wouldn't doubt to see them play one home game and one road game in London.

I think you're waaaay off.  The talent on the team is pretty good, I think we have the right GM in place.  Bradley hasn't been able to put it together but as bad as he's been, the Jags are only a couple plays away from being 2-1 so far and probably 3-1 after this weekend.  Khan will never play 2 games in London, otherwise he's capitulating and planning to move the team to Europe and that is ridiculous given how much he's invested in Jacksonville.  Blake Bortles reminds me a little of Cam Newton, great initial season and then he had a couple of seasons where people were wondering if he was really cut out to be a starter.  Now look where he is.  Hopefully Blake won't take as long to get his act together as Cam did.

I think you're waaaay off. Bortles is nothing like Newton... Newton was great out of the bat and had a couple seasons where he was only good. His teams won way more than ours does. Playing two games a season doesn't mean a move to London is coming.

That's nothing but revisionism.  Cam Newton had a good initial season and then had a stretch of seasons where he was getting sacked a bunch and making critical turnovers.  Sound familiar?  I agree the team's not moving to London which is why you'll never see two games a year there.  Shad's explained what he's doing by playing one game a year there and that logic doesn't extend to two games so either you're not getting it or else he's got intentions in regards to London that he's not being forthcoming about.  If that's the case, then all bets are off but I'm not buying it.
