Quote:I don't remember that.
I was a Yannick fan too, so I wasn't absent from his discussions.
This pick has Khan fingerprints all over it.
I could absolutely be wrong on this.
Wormely to BAL. He would've been nice here.
Ngakoue was productive at Maryland. He had the dreaded "DPR" designation
Could have drafted wormley, 6 sacks, 9 tackles for a loss, better than smoot
Quote:His 2015 season led people to believe he'd be a high pick but not sure what happened last year that he fell off so hard.
They said he struggled learning the system Lovie Smith implemented in ILL. Honestly i have no idea, never really saw the guy a play so im going off what the announcers said.
Duke riley is better than smoot, always need lb depth and special teama players
It's official...Tom has gone to bed, and Dave has taken the helm.
Couls have had anzalone, lb depth, special teama

Not sure what Lovie Smith runs but maybe he was asking him to do more reading/reacting versus attacking. I'll have to see TC and DC comments.

No worries... I could be misremembering myself. Could be I ignored it because I liked him.
I just suspect there was an "override" made that came from the analytics department. Better work or Coughlin gets the override chip next year.
Damn man, daeshon hall is way better than our 3rd round pick
very Gene Smith-like pick...
I like how people say they've never seen Smoot play then they proclaim a bunch of players to be better than him

Yeah I just read that he was lighter this year than in 2015 and it took some of his power away. I'm starting to like the pick.

I mean... arent that many guys we coulda got to be backups? and instead focus on still improving our O-line that right now, has 2 starting guards that probably dont start on more than a handful of other teams??

This ^^^ so much LOL!
They all say "who?"
Then go on to tell us all why he's so bad, how he's a reach, how he would have been there in the 5th round etc etc.
Comedy
Jmizzal, beef up? That will make him slower and he'll never touch the qb
