Quit just before halftime like in the patriots AFC championship game.
marone needs to be fired. the offense should have been told we need a quick pass and fall down so we can call a to they middle was wide open. that is just not having your offense prepared for the situation. We lose more games on coaches not having the team ready for situations,
At least they didn't try to run it.
I can't believe they're only down by 6. Feels like it ought to be way worse.

But things HAVE to change at half time.
A coach like Belichick would have had his team ready to make a correct play to get a chance at a field goal on that last play. What is Marrone's excuse?
Minshew holds the ball way too long. He knows there was 4 seconds left and he just sits back there like he had all the time in the world. Throw the ball! If it is incomplete, it is incomplete, but if you hit it, the receiver can go down and maybe attempt a FG.
Dumb dummy dumbo.... wth
DAMMIT. What are we doing? Its 6 seconds. Take a damn shot, run a hook and ladder, at least TRY.

It would be strange for a team who only gave up 9 points to do, but I guess anything is possible.
Boy they sure are doing a lot of Watson worship for 9 points.
6 seconds left.....Jaguars ball

Good- a TD out of halftime and we have the lead.

Bad- so far, we’ve been out-played and out-coached.

Ugly- Watson is killing us.
We can call that survival. To only be down 6 is kind of crazy. We usually start strong in the 2nd half. One play from leading the game.
This could be way worse than what it is. We're lucky the game is still close. We NEED to take some chances down the field and Minshew MUST make quicker decisions and trust his receivers to make plays.

That's what they attempted.

The receivers on the outside were covered and Minshew checked to his 4th or 5th read.
That last play was ALL on coaching.
TOP was the key stat in the 1st half.
Even the network says we are hampering minshew with this playcalling. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck...aww yall know the phrase
Too many 3rd and short yardage for Houston.
Even the announcers at half time are indicating that we need to throw the ball down field on a secondary that has a lot of issues. If they continue throwing these 5-10 yard passes, it will continue to be a very long day. did they lose all those play calls out of the play book? Are our wide receivers not winning against a secondary that is weakened due to injuries? This drive is critical, nothing short of a field goal can be acceptable.
