I am planning to move to Jax in a few years and worry that the team may not be there in 2023 or 2024 if the current tradition of almost continual failure and incompetence continues. I get the strange and disconcerting thought that the franchise's future here may rest on Minshew's shoulders pass or fail.

I would guess they would not change the logo for London btw.

I hope you’re not moving to Jacksonville for just the Jaguars. There are plenty of other great reasons to move there.

I've never lived in Jax and only visited a few times...
But can you give some examples?
When I came for the Skins game in 2018 I was highly unimpressed with much of what I saw. But I didn't exactly do a lot of in city traveling. Was mostly close to the interstate and stadium.

Downtown is the worst part of Jacksonville thanks in large part to First Baptist Church.

You gotta explore the suburban parts... it's like LA in that way.

I'll keep that in mind next time I come for a game......

Which is looking like 2020 probably. (Not just because of a crap season, but I sat through that Skins game in awe of the awful and told myself I'd never go to another game in a losing season when I knew we'd lose. Too expensive with travel and everything, even with cheap resale seats)
I'm not sure I would remain a fan of the London Pork Pies.

Since he bought the team he has made something like 4 billion.  So I really doubt he moves unless the NFL makes the team move.

Do you attend games?

Because this is bull [BLEEP].

When the Jags play a team whose fanbase travels well they experience an influx of those fans on par with every other opponent those teams face. If the number is slightly larger here at times it is merely attributable to good weather and affordability to attend in Jacksonville.

Even if he's right, it's irrelevant.
The tickets get sold.  Whether the seats are 10% visiting team fans or 50% visiting team fans, on average, both can be sustainable.
3 sworn enemies of a small market franchise:
Mainstream media
Resigned mediocrity
Eventual apathy
if jags got moved to london the team would win a super bowl there in 2 years, cause the nfl loves london, and big market teams. nfl hates the city of jacksonville. always has,and always will. wayne weavers money  got the jags in jacksonville. $$$$$$ talks espaissley big $$$$$$$
He can move it now.

I can’t even remember the really good years anymore. Just one mediocre losing season after another. Give me my sanity back

Wouldn't surprise me. You'll have the Las Vegas Raiders Vs. London Silly Nanny's for a trip to the Superbowl in no time.
