Sunday only.  Starts at 10:00.  Get there early.  It gets packed.
Cheeseburger.

The real juicy kind that drips onto your plate and by the time you get to the final bites it's falling apart and you have to just jam the last part of it into your mouth before it completely disintegrates.

Try one of these ones sometime.  If you want to change it up a bit, use bacon instead of ham.

There are a couple of jokes here that would probably get me a warning....

I'll bet that you really like fish tacos though.
Ceviche Mixto.

Ya know it took me 3 times to google this because of the weird spelling.

Looks good though
Pizza with everything including anchovies

Next would be Chinese food

I'm a breakfast guy.

I just polished off a bacon, egg & cheese on an English muffin...it was pretty tasty.

I had a slice of bacon pecan pie yesterday. It was aight.

Im not sure how I feel about this.

I don't like it with too much meat.   Just a nice medium rare burger, maybe 1/3 of a pound, with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, ketchup.  The ground beef has to be juicy.   Not overcooked.  The tomato has to be ripe, not one of these genetically modified, warehouse ripened, half green, tasteless things you get at a fast food joint.   And definitely lots of ketchup and mayo.  And the bun has to be very fresh and soft, but not so big that it dominates the burger.  Just big enough to hold all the stuff together.

Best restaurant cheeseburger I've had recently was at M Shack in 5 Points.  It was a gooey, drippy, runny mess of a cheese burger that fell apart before I could finish it.   Just wonderful.

If cheeseburgers were good for you, I'd be the healthiest man in the world.

Me too, which is what compelled me to order it. I really couldn't taste much of the bacon. That expected salty/sweet taste just wasn't as pronounced as I thought. Plus the pie wasn't luscious like a good pecan pie should be.
A nice Ribeye Steak would be fantastic right about now...

I was visiting my mom over the summer, and we went to this place that was grilling 32 OZ ribeyes...  That was a pretty dang good meal.  Perfectly med-rare.

Though I love breakfast.  I would have to go with a breakfast burrito smothered with red and green chile, nice crispy bacon and hashbrowns...  hmmm...  That sounds pretty good too.

So now you have to try it again somewhere else to find out if it was just a bad baker, or it's just not a good combo in a pie.
I've never had bacon in a pecan pie, but I'd guess that it's pretty good.  Ever had candied bacon?  Yummy.

Bacon makes everything better.

I like finding meals between meal times.

Like today, I found one between lunch and my mid-afternoon snack.

Sure, it was only a donut, but it's still relevant.

All depends on mood.

I'm a fan of a big savory southern breakfast.

(Sausage gravy over biscuits, grits with medium eggs mixed in and hot sauce over my home fries)

But nothing really beats a proper steak dinner in my book.

Medium rare cowboy cut rib-eye - creamed spinach - and a baked potato w/ butter, sour cream and bacon crumbles.

Pair that with a bottle of punch-you-in-the-mouth CA Cabernet or Zinfandel.

Boom. That's a king's meal.
