Turkey Day annihilation: Cowboys edition.
What an impressive showing for the Bills. This team could make some noise in the playoffs.
Wonder if Jason Garret makes it after this one?
Funny how time changes so many things.

ESPN was reporting that a top source said that Jerry wasn't going to get rid of Jason while the season is still going on. Regardless of what happened in tonight's game. But I wonder now after this latest loss with the Bills. This team is underachieving and has been throughout the season. I have thought that they should have had a better record than they do. And they haven't beat winning teams. I remember last week Fire Jason Garrett was trending on twitter (and pretty high at that).
I have (along with probably a lot of other people) have thought for a while now that his coaching style is a big part of the Cowboys problems and inability to really take the next step as a team. A few weeks ago I saw him clapping after Sean Lee got a penalty. The team needs better coaching than that and him doing stuff like failing to make necessary adjustments in games.
I do still think in spite of tonight's loss and their current situation that the Cowboys could still win their division. Especially in light of Carson Wentz/the Eagles struggles. But things are getting tight for their playoffs hopes. Though, the matchup with them against the Eagles in a few weeks could be really big for them. They could be in big trouble if they lose that game. They have the Bears, Rams, Eagles and Redskins left on their schedule. They really need to win at least three of those games, so they can be at least 9-7.
The Eagles have an easier remaining schedule of games than the Cowboys do. (They face the Dolphins, Giants 2x, Redskins, Cowboys). The Eagles could win most if not all of those games. If they win most of them, and beat the Cowboys in the mix, the Cowboys could miss the playoffs. The only way they (or the Eagles) are getting in is winning their division. Neither team will get one of the Wild Card Spots (The WCs will go to teams like Seattle, and whoever of the Packers/Vikings doesn't win the NFC North.)
Though, even if the Cowboys make the playoffs, I could see them getting bounced in the first round. Every team in the playoffs would be better than them, and I think most if not all would be favored against them.

I mean, is anybody really surprised about the Cowboys?
This is business as usual for them - get hyped in the offseason, start off somewhat strong, then sputter and spiral into absolute mediocrity and miss the playoffs.

Jerry Jones and company we're pissed for being whiped at home. He left his suite early and I'm sure that he too knawed on a Turkey Leg after the game.
Time Will Tell.
