Yep, they started WWI and hosted the Olympics in 1936 and started WWII almost immediately thereafter.   They also hosted in 1972 (Munich) and killed 7 Jewish athletes from Israel.

Not a very good resume indeed.  Hopefully the committee will do a hard pass on them if they decide to bid on hosting their 3rd Olympics.
