The team did him dirty and he will likely look elsewhere and he would get a mega contract from someone. Regardless of what you think, he’s a top 10 pass rusher and should have been paid like one.

I would have paid him top 5 money because in about 2 years, that would only have been top 10 money. He’s going to cost more now than he would have last summer.

Can you show me where I said I dont think he is a top 10 pass rusher?  We can franchise him and work on a deal.  Frank Clark, Demarcus Lawrence, and Clowney all got the franchise tag so this isnt unusuall lol

Of course you would of paid him early after 2 years because its not your money and youre a Maryland fan
It wouldn’t have been after 2 years but summer of 2019? Absolutely.

And that’s rich coming from you and your gator homer behavior. Loved Heyward Bey in college but never would have drafted him. Unlike you, I’m able to separate my college fandom from Pro fandom.

I am as well, I wanted Cooper the year we drafted Fowler and I wanted Hernandez or Goedert the year we got Bryan.

Dog. You said Hargreaves was better than Ramsey.
I'm not really worried. If we have ANY common sense at all, he'll get tagged. We absolutely CANNOT lose Ngakoue. Tag him and offer him an extension to show that we want him and fire all the coaches and Caldwell to show him that the atmosphere around the team will be changing for the better. If we lose Ngakoue, this team will be set back even further, probably another 3 years and we're already trailing everyone else as it is.

He was in college and I didnt know he had work ethic issues. You act like he was a bum, he was a top 11 pick for a reason.
The Jags made a huge mistake not negotiating a contract extension this summer. Yan wanted a longer contract and TC tried to dog him with only 4 years. With a team this devoid of home-grown talent, you don't let what little talent you do have walk. You keep Yan even if it means cutting Campbell.
This is the worst year I have seen in my entire life with this franchise. Been watching since 1995 at the age of 7.

I know it's been tougher on the season ticket holders. Feels like a circus is in town every football season now.

We keep the wrong players. Run off the right players. We just keep seeing this perpetual cycle of nonsense.

I don't know if it's deliberate. Maybe it's just my cynicism getting the best of me. But we're on the cusp of falling into a tar pit.

They cannot continue to move forward with so much incompetence circulating within that building. It's madness.

Coughlin took a deathblow for his mistakes. And rightfully so. But he wasn't alone. The communication is broken down from top down.

Khan wasn't on the same page with Coughlin. Coughlin wasn't on the same page with Caldwell and Marrone.

The results on the field speak for itself. You are what your record says you are. And then when you break down that aspect it just becomes worse.

Just embarrassing. [Image: 9f9b7a5fd67aec2cf55b401c4ce79729.gif]

This is nothing more than baseless speculation. The team knows they can't let Yannick get away so no worries.
Trade the 6 th and 20th to Bengals and draft Chase Young

Bold. But unlikely. Too many holes to fill. Would rather see a Brown & Kinlaw combination over this trade personally.

But if you feel Chase Young is the next Reggie White or Bruce Smith I wouldn't stand in anybody's way.

Personally I think Chase Young will play out similar to Myles Garrett physically. Which isn't a bad thing.

Money talks. They offer him a contract he wants, he will stay. He doesnt seem like a bitter headcase who will leave just to be spiteful.
I wonder if we applied the Non-Exclusive franchise tag if a team would give up two #1s for him?

You mean Joe Burrow
I've been pretty underwhelmed with Young last 3 games,

He seems exactly like that.

Yannick and Ramsey really got you in your feelings huh
He will be back, either under a new contract or the tag.

We'll see.  Ramsey is obviously a spoiled brat headcase.  Yannick seems to be far more professional.  He has done everything the way you think a pro should do it.
Yan going home to Ravens, hate to see it but we gotta get our [BLEEP] together
