Only if Bill Belichick is still there. If it's Josh McDaniels I wouldn't be too concerned.

Is it mathematically possible to win a division at 6-10?
If you sweep your division and your other three divisional opponents completely [BLEEP] the bed it's possible. You would probably have a case of three other teams in other divisions with double digit wins getting screwed from a play off spot though.

I drink the teal kool aid. And I wear teal sun glasses.

Technically you could win your division without ever winning a game. It would require all divisional rivals to tie every game with each other and all go 0-10-6. You would have to win the tiebreaker to take the division.
Then you get to ride that impressive record straight to a home playoff game where you host a 13-3 team while a couple of 12-4 teams get eliminated from playoff contention.
No, but yes. A good quarterback fixes a lot of problems, it really depends on if Minshew takes a big leap forward or not. If he does, the team will compete for the division title regardless of other moves made on the team. We sorely need a TE, even just a serviceable one(we miss you marcedes) to help out our young qb. Sure up the o line, and fix our run defense and we should be fine. It’s never as good, or bad as it looks.

I think 3-13 is the minimum for a divisional win, which can happen if all divisional series are split 1-1 and no team wins a single non-division game.

You're missing the possibility of ties as described above. Tie all divisional games, lose everything else and win on a tie breaker. 0-10-6.
If now is not the time to rebuild khan, then when is 1 wining season in as long as Caldwell has been here......how this clown ever became a successful business man baffles me....
6-10 or 7-9 is the ceiling, but looking at next year's schedule it's looking like a 4-12 season.

Bumpers and football are two different animals. And in fairness. Unless your Kraft, Rooney, Mara or Bisciotti you're probably in the same boat as Khan every year.
We're not the only struggling team in the NFL. Stunning, I know.

I think we will be 8-8 or better next year. Minshew would have done that this year if he started all the games. We haven't hhad a QB with moxie like him since brunnel. Excepting injury I think it is possible we go back to the playoffs.
I don't have faith in them right now, but since they are coming back I have no choice but to talk myself into having some faith. Otherwise, it's too depressing.

This is where I'm at too.
I'll talk myself into the two 1st round picks being difference makers, that Minshew takes a big step forward, that Yan and Allen are the best young pass rushing duo (They are) and that Oliver will be the TE missing link.
I'm so tired of hearing about 2017 ....it's over, done.
That was three years ago.

Minshew is the key here. Once the dust settles and the negativity fades away, the hype around Minshew will build again and everyone will be excited about the coming season once again. I imagine Khan took this into account when making his decisions; if Minshew wasn't around there would be hardly anything for this fan base to get excited about. He saved a lot of jobs this year.
I voted yes just to spite the blatant bias in the poll options and thread title.
Because there was no blank #2 or corn option, the poll is further flawed.
In all honesty, my true response is "I don't care." They have a year. Sink or Swim. If they get to the playoffs, great, maybe TC was that big a detriment to the franchise, and the long-time fans jaded by his success of yesteryear will finally realize he was nothing more than a grumpy old man who honestly got very lucky before grinding the team into the dirt, and then repeating the dang cycle a decade and a half later. If they stink out loud, we can finally dump Foles, we know whether or not Minshew is the future, and we can actually do a full restart from the ground up - GM, coaches, roster, the whole thing.
