Glad he has played the way he has, looks good so far. Wanted him as a safety but hopefully he can become one of the top corners

I was looking at his play from his last year at FSU. He dropped a lot of interceptions. A lot of FSU fans who saw him play extensively were complaining. Now, in fairness, his first year as a Seminole, he was pretty amazing. Like I said, I'm happy to be wrong.
On the other hand, a lot of people thought Telvin Smith would be to small to play linebacker. I always disagreed with that. He was lights out during the national championship year a few seasons back.

If he keeps tipping passes to Gipson I don't care if he doesn't catch any himself.

Hes a lockdown corner, way more important than a safety

Jalen is a stud.
Wish we had 3 of him.

This was the 1st game Ramsey was actually used properly. I can almost guarantee that had we put Ramsey on Benjamin the whole game that score would of been a lot different

Put the best players on the field man. It doesn't seem too hard.

Nice to see you come around and acknowledge his successes thus far in an admittedly small sample.
Many would stick to their guns even when it's past the point of obviousness their argument no longer holds water and never acknowledge even the good plays. (I need not cite a specific poster. I'm sure many will draw their own conclusions).
Kudos to you for being fair minded.

But but..the defense is too complicated and Jack isn't a Lotto/Otto/Fotto! What if he goes out there and starts making plays? We can't have that!

And Ramsey is a stud. Can't wait for the new coach and DC to up his game even further.

Exactly. A good safety may impact where a QB feels comfortable throwing or cause qbs to second guess but a stud CB can flat out erase a player from the field eliminating an option all together.

Ramsey has been fun to watch. Out of all the defensive rookies he's gotten probably the most media attention, which usually equals DROY.
But who's this Jack fella, never seen him?

There was a play in the first half where he closed on one of the WR's that was running a fly pattern and he broke up a long gain. The dude is legit. LEGIT

His full sur name is Jackson. He's number 90 and plays on the D-line... :geek:

But wait...
All the stat dorks on here said he couldn't play corner because he only produced three INTs in college.

It was Mike Wallace he closed in on. Another cool play is the Gipson INT. Ramsey makes the whole thing happen by tipping it of course, but then he lays 2 crushing blocks during the return. The guy loves to hit.
