I'm trying to care about it, but the rosters are so bad this year. It's basically Kinlaw and day 3 guys for us.

This is good to hear, my favorite TE in the draft

Hopefully if there is a guy sitting at the bottom of the 2nd we feel like can be a starter we trade up and get him even if it cost our 3rd, 4th, and 5th. We need starters. We should of done that for Metcalf last year
If we want Harrison Bryant it looks like we will have to get him in the 2nd and I'd be ok with that

We'd already traded our 5th to go get Taylor, So we'd had to give up our 6th and 7th, and then we'd have missed Minshew.

Don't panic. Let the draft come to you.....
I just realized Jonathan Greenard is playing in this game. He is one of my favorite players in this draft.
In viewing practice day 2 today, in the 1v1 WR/CB drill, a sleeper for me is emerging. He had excellent release moves, quickness, and smooth sticky hands. James Proche (5'10 5/8" 195) out of SMU. He got immediate separation on each rep, breaking a few CB ankles in the process. He reminded me alot of a cross between a young Randall Cobb and Deebo Samuel. It will be interesting to see his Combine times, and do a little more research on him. Maybe a round 4-6 guy that can make plays.

To trade up to get Taylor in the second last year, Jags gave up a 2nd and 4th round pick, both in last year's draft.  They did not give up a 5th round pick in this year's draft for Taylor.

In this year's draft, the Jags had 2 5th round selections.  The second 5th round selection was received from the Rams as part of the Fowler trade.  They traded the earlier one away last year to acquire Josh Dobbs.  I believe they still have the later 5th round selection received from the Rams.

This is a guy I like that hopefully goes round three. Which is the earliest I'd prefer the Jags to use capital on WR.

Yeah, the 5th we were missing from that draft was the Hyde trade

Indeed.
Need big uglies early and perhaps a CB (definitely a CB if they cut Bouye)
The LT from Houston has apparently been very impressive.
I have been high on Denzel Mims for a good bit now.

The kid can just play and it was blatantly apparent during the season. His stock is going to rise tremendously, especially if he can manage to run a good 40.
Love going top 10 would be awesome for us.

Watching some of his tape, I would too.

I just don't see it... but I'm not a professional scout either. (And only watched a couple of his games)

Would be great for Bengals, Phins, and Chargers to all go QB (Burrow, Tua, Love)
We'd likely have our pick of Thomas, Brown, or Okudah
I always like rosterwatch's recaps:
