"We're going to move T.J. Yeldon, Chris Ivory, Denard Robinson and Corey Grant to fullback. Calling them 'halfbacks' when they stand behind a fullback doesn't make any sense. We're also going to sign a fullback and move him to halfback, because he'll be halfway between Blake and the fullback."
Khan should create a new position and hire somebody that knows how to hire coaches...apparently Dave is not that guy.

So, hire someone to hire someone? I like it!
Dave will google search "top coaching candidates 2017" and make an opinion after reading a SI.com article.

Yep, sorta like having a meeting to figure out what to discuss at the upcoming meeting.  I love them meetings.

I wouldn't hate Patricia as the HC even though NE coaches do scare me. I just hope that if we bring in a rookie HC that he is surrounded by good, veteran coordinators.

Bradley being surrounded by Fisch and Babich was a disaster from the start.

Matt Patricia majored in aeronautical engineering. I must confess, it would be nice to have a smart coach.

My guys are Shula, Payton, Miles, Sumlin, Shaw, Mora.

Apparently he wasn't very good at it, lol.
I think there's a good chance Matt Patricia will be an NFL HC in 2017.   With a number of NFL teams having GMs that used to work in the Patriots organization,   combined with the success the Patriots Defense is having under Bill Belichick and Matt Patricia,   the latter's services likely will be in demand by more than one team.   To the point that at least one team probably will wait until the Patriots season is over to hire him.

Rather have McDaniels
Being that Caldwell is somewhat tied to the hip with Bortles, I be surprised if he didn't bring in a coach with QB success. I'd go with McDaniels

It worked with the draft..

Having a coach or OC that is a QB whisperer is a requirement if you are going to roll with Bortles.  I mentioned Linehan in another thread for the same reason.

If you want that from your HC  - McDaniels fits the bill also.

I think he'd do well. He had to much control of personal decisions when he was HC in Denver plus when Elway took over they didn't mesh.

Make a splash Khan
LOL, hey I mean if she is qualified!
Would anyone give Les Miles a try? I don't really follow college football that close, don't really know much about him. Wouldn't really want a college coach, but I heard his name tossed around a lot.

This is our future headcoach. Come home Edgar!

His offense would mesh very well with Bortles strengths.

Ill take a number of college HCs, Miles, Sumlin, Shaw, Mora. Mora has been a NFL HC already and did alright. Miles has won a championship and knows how to coach. I would also look at Mike Shula from the Panthers, similar playing styles. Also Payton if he gets fired.
