Minshew passes Thunderbirds test with flying colors

Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew flew with the Air Force Thunderbirds last month and Lt. Col Kevin DiFalco raved about how Minshew handled the potentially jarring nature of the flight.
I've said this before and I'll say it once more: We do NOT need to draft a QB this year. Not only is he a gym rat and a film room junkie, his ability to stay calm and collected is a vastly underrated trait. Add in the fact that Marrone hired Gruden and MacAdoo, and I have to say that I am highly confident that QB is one of the few positions that we shouldn't be worried about. DT on the other hand.....yeah, that [BLEEP] needs help.

But he really sucked in the 2nd half of the season. Go look at the games against the Texans, Bucs, Chargers, Raiders, and Falcons. You notice a trend of getting blown out in the 1st half, even though he managed to pull out a 4th quarter victory against the Raiders when they went prevent defense.
52 points in 5 games -- if that's what you want then sure, let's ignore the 2nd half of the season when teams had more film to study Minshew's weaknesses and gameplan accordingly.

Let's also ignore that was a rookie and 6th round draft pick and did better than
anyone expected.
Because those weren't a factor
at all. /sarcasm
He now has a year under his belt, he will be trained to his strengths, the dude knows how to get out of tight situations if he has to, etc.
Not to take away from his accomplishments, but didn’t he admit to passing out on the flight?

Yes, that's expected. Passing a TBirds flight means you didn't fill your facemask or your flight suit with organic material.

6 and 6 as a rookie starter with a defense that gave up 1,100 yards rushing in 5 games and an offense built for 1964.
