From what I understand the QB draft class is hot garage next year. In my opinion he should get one more year after this. I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that he sucks this bad the rest of the year.

He was drafted in the same draft as Blake. They had similar seasons last year.

I think its a serious question to consider. I liked what I saw from Allen in preseason, and perhaps he can develop. As fans we may be jumping the gun, but after what we have seen the last 2 weeks it is starting to be an issue to look at if you are Dave Caldwell.

Ok, I think this is getting a bit out of hand. Blake has been pretty bad these past games, but he was not at all last year. Don't start this, please. 

I dont think you go drafting a qb round 1 this year but they should continue to scout late round qb's and find a backup plan. I think he can fix his problems still.

We can joke about drafting a QB next year, but we all know it isn't happening. Blake is tied to Caldwell. Drafting a second QB would be like showing your hand in poker, and that's not how you play cards with the boss.

i dont want him to draft a QB. we have seen Blake throw bombs on a dime. the guy can play. he needs help.  Good, we got ARob. He helps. We need more help... like somebody who can [BLEEP] BLOCK

We drafted one in 2016.

Lol all of last year and all offseason he was the second coming, and three games into the season people are ready to move on.  This fan base sucks.

Last year was Goff (when Wentz was the better prospect.)

 

TwitterScouts^TM always zig when they should zag when it comes to QBs.  One falls in love, and the rest fall in line.

I doubt Caldwell would hesitate to draft another QB - or even trade for one if Blake plays out the season like he did vs Baltimore. 

 

With a  new coach coming in that will want his own guy, it's no stretch at all to think they'd seek another QB if Blake doesn't show something to change that. 

 

If Blake keeps averaging 2 turnovers a game, whatever "tie" you are perceiving is gone. 

I think Blake can turn it around. Just need to gel a little more. By week 15 we will be unstoppable at 2-11
