Just to illustrate the chances of the Jags getting a good played
In no particular order:
Burrow
Tua
Young
Okudah
Simmons
Thomas
Wirfs
Wills
Brown/Kinlaw
Plenty of options. Becton or Jeudy would be nice at 9 in that scenario.

Unsure if I want either there but as worst scenarios I guess. Probably would just try move back
Too much top talent for there to be a nightmare start to the draft for us. I don't see how we can go wrong at 9 tbh.
Cue #becausejaguars.

And other teams might also be interested in our pick if the last of the “top four” OTs was there. Or if they thought we would pick the WR they want.
Good thing we pick at 9 and 2 of those listed would still be there.
If it were to fall that way I would think someone might be interested in coming up for Herbert/Love or someone wanting to grab the last top OT in Becton.
You take either Brown or Kinlaw, which ever one is still there

Pretty much. Fairly easily choice barring someone drastically reaching like the raiders this year

I absolutely, totally agree. I'm leaning toward Kinlaw because his athletic ability is superior to Brown, so I think he has a higher ceiling.

......aaaaaaaaaaand you just cursed us to picking Josh Jones at 9.
@thanks@

We're taking Henderson 9 now anyway.
The first eight picks could get interesting though. Especially with trades. Still need to see what's going to happen at QB during free agency. Brady & Rivers could end up signing with some of these teams. Then you have the potential of teams trading current QB's for new QB's.
Would be funny if Brady says [BLEEP] it and goes to Miami with a familiar face and Rivers ends up in Carolina. Miami may not be interested in a QB that early in 2020 with all of the holes they have on offense and defense. This would then put Cam Newton on the trading block.
They could entice Brady to come down to Miami to get a shot at New England twice a year. Add three really good players in RD1 for him to work with and then aim to 2021 to land Brady's replacement like Fields or Lawrence or maybe even take a chance later on this year with Jake Fromm (Smart, Game Manager) or Jacob Eason (Mortar for An Arm).
There's also Derek Carr & Mitchell Trubisky to consider as potential trading candidates. I expect a lot of moving and shaking on opening night. Should be fun.

I keep seeing this Brady to Miami scenario thrown around. Brady has a bad record in the Florida heat. I would have to think that would come into his thinking...maybe not.

It could. I just think it would make for must see TV. Similar to Favre joining the Vikings and going after Green Bay during his last few years. The Flores connection makes sense. As does the tacks with Vrabel.
The worst case for us would probably be a top of eight of Burrow and Tagovailoa, along with Young, two OTs, plus Brown, Okudah and Simmons.
That probably leave us looking at Kinlaw or one of the remaining "top tier" of OTs. Or a WR.
It all hangs on the OTs and QBs
I think we're expecting Burrow and Tagovailoa to go in the top eight, but a team trading up for Herbert of Love would help us (although I'm thinking this is unless the Chargers start showing an interest and someone wants to get ahead of them.
Then it's down to the Giants, Cardinals and possibly the Chargers and Lions. I think I'm expecting at least one and probably two of them to go OT. It starts to get interesting if another team joins the party.

Anything with Kinlaw available at 9 isnt really a worst case imo.

Either of these guys would be good, but I prefer Brown due to his superiority at stopping the run. Add him and a middle linebacker like Kwiatkoski, Schobert, Logan Wilson or Jordyn Brooks and our run defense should vastly approve. Unfortunately, I expect Brown to be gone so a combination of Kinlaw and Leki Fotu in round 3 or 4 would fit the bill. Two defensive tackles may seem excessive, but the run defense needs to be the top priority.

I agree. I'd like Kinlaw at #20, not #9. He's a great athlete, but I read an interview in which he admitted he looks forward to developing other pass-rush moves instead of simply bull rushing people. I doubt he's going to be that impactful his first year.
By contrast, Brown looks like a Dareus clone, capable of collapsing the pocket and stuffing the run. He'd make everyone around him better, including Taven, who could focus on penetrating his gap instead of clogging lanes like a nose tackle.

So worst case for you would be Kinlaw going in the top eight and another of those four OTs falling to us? Less likely I think, but possible.
But the point is that there will be someone good at nine, but there could be someone great if we get lucky.

Worst case for me would be in no order
Burrow
Young
Simmons
Brown
Kinlaw
Okudah
Wirfs
Becton
And not getting a good trade offer from any team to trade back
