I expect the Jags to have 14 draft picks after they trade Yannick to Seattle for a 1st and a 4th. Seattle needs a pass rusher and Yannick is much better than anyone in the draft not named Chase Young. Prior to the draft, the Jaguars should sign Eric Ebron who will hopefully fare better than ASJ. Here's how the draft ideally would go:

Rd. 1 (9) : Jeff Okudah (Brown was off the board.) Cornerback position fixed.

Rd. 1 (16) : Javon Kinlaw ( Jags give up two 4th's and a 6th to switch spots with Falcons).

Rd. 1 (27): A.J. Espinesa (Not the pass rusher Yannick is, but better against the run. Should get 8-10 sacks per year.

Rd. 2:        Denzell Mims ( big target with big upside. Minshew should love this pick).

Rd. 3:        Tyler Biadasz ( Jags thrilled to see he's still on the board. Very dependable center moves Linder to guard).

Rd. 3 .      Matt Peart  (Jags move back into the 3rd to get developmental left tackle ). They give up a 4th and 5th to get him somewhere between picks 85-96.

Rd. 4:      Anthony McFarland (With remaining 4th rounder they get explosive 3rd down back).

Rd. 5:     K'Von Wallace ( versatile safety who will also help special teams).

Rd. 6:    Bryce Huff (tweener from Memphis who can rush the passer).

Rd. 7:   Tyler JohnsonSad Lack of athleticism/speed causes him to drop this far. Reliable receiver who will make the team).

I believe this pretty much addresses all positions of need other than possibly linebacker. If the picks work out for the most part, the Jaguars should be competitive again in 2 seasons, especially with the likelihood they'll have 2 pretty high 1st rounders in the 2021 draft.

I love this draft and I really like Mims but I would rather Harrison Bryant or Kmet there.

Thanks. I debated whether to take a tight end in the 3rd round with Trautman my preference, but decided to pay Ebron and hope Oliver develops into their number 1 tight end of the future. I do hope they take a receiver at some point in the first 3 rounds. Mims and Jefferson could provide the best value late in round 1 or early in the 2nd
