A few people have already said on here if we take Brown at 9 they dont want Kinlaw at 20 becausewe have bigger needs. But I do because he will be BPA imo

I wouldn’t say TE is a top 3 need when we have Oliver who has the talent to be a top flight receiver.
Does he? He has potential but Oliver hasnt proven anything. There is a number of TEs i like in this years draft that I would take over Oliver last year. I really hope we get one of Bryant, Kmet, and Okwuegbunam. Jarrod Wilson has shown more than Oliver

That’s what Dave did before and how we ended up with one of the best defenses of all time. I like the core of defensive playmakers we have right now with jack at will, scho, Allen, and Harrison but we need more taven has the ability to be a playmaker with his explosive ability to penetrate just have to turn the corner. With yan likely gone we need another explosive edge guy or another explosive inside guy on an Aaron Donald type level, brown could be that type.
Don't care if that's at LB, DE, DT, CB, S or OT, OG, C, WR, RB or TE. This team is in full on rebuild mode now with 12 picks and plenty of holes to fill.

You aren't being clear at all. I didn't name specific players or rounds. I damn sure didn't say [BLEEP] about Sean [BLEEP] Tayloe. LOL
I'm saying if ANY of those first five picks involve selecting redundant players at those spots, you're cool with it because they are the highest graded guys, right?
Also - nice edit and backpedal in your earlier post. Posting out of both sides of your mouth.
If there's a box safety at pick 73 that's better than the RG you've got your eye on there, you better draft that safety, right?
Why are you being such a jerk NYC? You're usually not like that.
I consider myself a BAP drafter, but it's not etched in stone. If the drop off in quality from BAP to a "need" player is large (think Roethlisberger vs. Reggie Williams) then you try to get a good trade value for the slot and player. If you can't get what you think is a fair trade you take the best player, need or not. But if the difference is marginal then go ahead and pick the position you need over the slightly higher rated "box safety."
Personally I consider box safeties a dime a dozen, but that's neither here nor there.

Having "too many" good DTs is never a bad thing. They rotate more than any position and being creative with the pairings situationally is an asset.
However, if there's a CB rated similarly to Kinlaw at #20, I'm taking him all day long after landing Brown early.
Bigger need at a position you typically need to take early to hit. I'd give it precedence.

Just trying to point out some blatant hypocrisy, but the poster has backpedaled miles from his original stance.
I’ll let it go.
We need:
CB1
NT
LT
RG
WR
TE
FS
c.o.p. RB
you could re-order those a number of ways and it would still make sense and if Yan is traded or sits, add DE
