I'll be hitting day 3 of troubleshooting tomorrow. Not real happy about it.

Inner and outer bearings, hub seals, rotors, calipers, pads and the requisite bleed/flush process.
My back, neck, and knuckles aren't completely convinced that it was worth the 300 bucks I saved.
But it's nice not to listen to squeaky bearings and whining worn brake pads now.

Picked up some recording work I can do from my home studio the next couple of days, so I'm keeping the cabin fever mostly at bay.

Nice work!

4 days of testing every circuit and a new controller board later and we're ready to go! Disease score 40 out of 100 tomorrow so none too soon.
Yesterday my wife called me over to her office window, and there was a flock of maybe a hundred or more Cedar Waxwings all over our Japanese Plum trees, eating those little yellow plums.  They cleaned those things off, and then they all got on the ground and ate the ones that had dropped.  We also saw Orioles on those trees.  Really beautiful birds.  They were on those trees for hours.  Those birds must be headed back north.

I hope you've got the best surge protector money can buy for that thing!

Haha, I'm not a good enough with electricial to understand how the system works exactly, but there are an awful lot of signs and warnings about not touching the electrodes while it's running. Kinda concerning that it's also forcefully launching 175 gallons of water per hour into the air.

Got my phomopsis spray done today though!

Nice!

Did you happen to see where a northward migration of millions of birds was flying over the FL keys and triggered the national weather radar as a large body of precipitation? Pretty cool.

Every early Spring I have a wacky bird event on my property. There are two giant camphor trees on the lot and another quite large one. Shortly after we've had a few frosts and it's just BARELY starting to warm up, the robins come through to get absolutely hammered eating the slightly fermented camphor berries. At times there will be easily 300-400 birds in these three huge trees squawking, gorging, and flying very erratically from tree to tree and branch to branch.
It's like my yard becomes a giant rowdy beer hall for birds.

Occasionally the hawks get hip to the sheer number of them (and their inebriation) and they'll pick off an easy lunch of drunk robin. Then the flock gets really loud and they awkwardly try to relocate. This  gorging will last several days some years.
I’ve noticed people in general are better looking when all you can see is their eyes.

May have to save this pic.  Would make a nice avatar.

Update: “remote avatars have been disabled by admins”.  Between you and I, not a clue what that means.  But I really want that dude in that pic to represent who I am.  It just screams...well it screams quite a damn bit, tbh.

That is most certainly up for debate.  But I love it!
It’s the right amount of creepy, eccentric and ingenious I’ve been looking for.  It’s like the mad hatter created an account in the Jags board.

I work at Ace Garden center and we have been absolutely slammed every day.
Sonic is offering curbside service. Just saying.

I’m bored inside my truck waiting for this rain to pass
