a backup edge defender.  He's 6'4 254, and is the son of WR Curtis Marsh, a 1995 7th round draft pick of the Jags.
I remember that guy. He made an amazing catch in preseason and then proceeded to absolutely flatline.
Marsh 2.0 is probably one of a few such signings that will be made to make sure there is a "No Ngakoue" contingency in place. Low expectations on this one from me.

Why can't Josh Allen just take over Yan's role? He has the bend and he's more athletic/freaky. Smoot and Gunter can man the big end spot.

He started a remarkable run of wide receivers who flash and vanish over the course of our history.

Yep, he was the original Jaguars training camp superstar.  I remember him well.  Speed was his best asset.

a.  Smoot is a far cry from Calais
b.  Pretty sure Gunter is an interior guy when playing 4-3  (he played DE in a 3-4)
c. You need two top tier pass rushers in this defensive scheme.
Wash used Ngakoue and Allen together frequently last year on third down.  If Ngakoue is traded or sits, his replacement is NOT currently on this roster. There will be a big drop-off in talent on one side or the other depending on where Allen is aligned.

I would not be surprised if we go DE at 20. Especially if they don't know what is going to happen with Yan.
Who was the kid outta Rice? Jarred Dillard? I could Google it but we gotta train the ole brain like storing chic's #'s in our mind back in the 90's. These kids don't know nothing about that. ("..so what's ur number? I'll call u." You got a pen? "Don't worry, i'll remember it...")

Ahhh... The good ole dayz
They just signed another CB too. From Detroit.

That was him, I thought for sure he was gonna be a stud. Ala Mike Sims-Walker (Choppa city!!)

Haole! For ol' facemask Chad Owens!
I can't believe you guys remember an obscure player from 25 years ago.

Now the real test: What did you have for lunch yesterday?

Haha ole Kid and Play hair guy. Got cut by the Pats the night before the Super Bowl, Poor cat.

Scotty McGee was a cool guy. Coached his kid at MAA for a year. Kid still has an autographed pic that he gave out to the whole team. Last I heard he was running some clothing line.
I liked Scotty McGee and was really pulling for him. Unfortunately he had a tendency to run 30 yards crossfield to gain 5 yards downfield.

Wow! Yeah that's right. I remember not liking Belichick for that.

This is very true. Great guy. Was supposed to be that return specialist we're still looking for.
