I don’t see that happening because it will only result in a frustrated and dwindling fan base here and an increasingly disinterested fan base there.

American football is a novelty treat over there, not a staple meal item like here.
I’d like to think so, but the revenue opportunities are just too much and it’s a business at the end of the day. Khan has no loyalty to JAX.

Folks love to toss this statement around.

It may be somewhat true, but his actions and words very clearly express the contrary.

If you want to believe his intentions are to deceive and he has no real interest in his Jacksonville investments, that's fine I guess.  But he has invested, continues to invest, and has spoken strongly and lucidly about being committed to keeping the team in Jacksonville and helping the area around the stadium become vital.

There's nothing concrete to suggest otherwise. There is only speculation that the second game being moved is merely a precursor to further, similar actions.  That could be true, or it could just as easily turn out that in 3 years the team is only playing one home game outside of Jacksonville.

His actions are two home games gone from JAX to LON. I don't need to listen to anything, that's enough action for me to come to my conclusions. Like I said, I'd like to think otherwise but I can't. Nobody thought 2 home games away from Jax was possible, well it's a reality. He makes big $$$ playing games there, and he is the only owner in the league trying to secure more games there while sacrificing actual home games.

I know a lot of fans cancelled their season tickets so maybe he will get the picture as to the consequences of taking away home games from the city of JAX, but we shall see.
Why is it so important to be in the top 10 in league revenue? That's not only a tall ask for Jacksonville, but it would also be an unrealistic ask in bigger markets that don't have a team - like Portland and San Antonio. There's simply no way those cities will generate more revenue than say, Dallas, Chicago, Rams, Giants and Jets, Eagles, Houston, 49ers, Patriots.

You want to make more revenue Shad? Just win. If the team wins, they can justify higher ticket prices -- and the fans in this market will pay for them. This city is dying to support a winner. Winning will solve so many of your revenue problems.

This ^ is more or less my response to the second London game and its intended "stability."

"League average revenue" seems an incredibly important goal for Khan - unnecessarily.

I’m out of the loop as far as development goes. But—all I’ve been hearing is how Shad Khan wants to move the Jags out to London. I hear back and forth arguments from he can’t for x amount of years, he’s invested a ton into the Jaguars, he promised he wouldn’t, be made a deal with Wayne Weaver, etc. I hear the opposition say he tried to buy Wembley Stadium, two games in London spells doom, an ex-employee (Craig Kline) says he’s heard from the Khans that he plans on moving and this was always the plan. I’ve even heard that he wants a new stadium. The players hate traveling to London but the NFL wants a team there? What’s going on?

Does the downtown revitalization project help the Jaguars stay?
1. Shipyard project
2. The Landing
3. Lot J

He’s invested in Daily’s Place and the scoreboards. What do I make of all this?
