Interesting piece from Lance Zierlein today, comparing the relative strengths of the position groups this year.

He ranks them WR, OT, IDL, LB, RB, CB, Edge, QB, Safety, TE and lastly OG/C.

How do you see them?

I also thought his comments on the CB group are interesting -

Jeff Okudah is the top dog at cornerback, with C.J. Henderson following behind him -- and then it falls off. While I like the top two, I have just six total cornerbacks graded as first- or second-round talents this season. The position usually gets pushed up the board by need, so look for players to be overdrafted in the second and third rounds. There could, however, be some value in Rounds 4 and 5.”
His rankings are obviously decided by the talent at the top of the class, and I'd generally agree with how he has it more or less.

But I would say that positions like TE and interior O-line do actually have some depth, it's just they don't really have any guys that should be taken in the first two rounds. There should be plenty of 'decent' options available at those positions in the middle rounds.

On the flip side, DT is strong at the top, but it falls off a cliff after the early guys tbh.

Just gotta find that sweet spot in the draft for each position.

I agree with you. There is definite depth at TE. No real top guys like last year but there is definitely talent there.
