We have a glaring need for a starting CB, even if we draft one or two. He's 24, and is decent. Why not sign him to a 3 year deal to give us time to develop a CB or two over the next couple years?

When was he decent?
He was a bust for the Giants and didn't stick with the Saints.
I said decent, not good or great.
"Removing emotion from the equation, the numbers tell a tale of an efficient performance in 2019 for Apple. In coverage, he had a ranking of 59.1. While not ideal, he more than made up for that with a 74.7 tackling rank and a staggering 81.2 rank against the run. Apple was also an instrumental cog in a defense that stepped up big during the 5-game gap without Drew Brees at the helm, a gap that during which, the Saints would end up going 5-0"

DJ Hayden part II. I'm up for that.
Right now our depth chart shows Tre Herndon and Rashaan Melvin as our starting DBs .... lol.
I'd rather Dre Kirkpatrick on a 1 or 2 year deal
Hasn't he had some locker room issues? Something tells me the Jags would be wary.

Dude straight up quit on the Giants. No thanks.
