These are so [BLEEP] stupid with all of these trades that will never happen.

Guessing picks is one thing.  Pure fantasy...is....whatever...

Get over myself?  I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to be getting over.  I'm not allowed to respond to some ridiculous scenario that has zero chance of happening?  I'll check in with you next time before I post.

I don't personally do the trades. They get wildly unrealistic.

However, most of these mocks tend to be pretty unrealistic any way.
Like this one from fanspeak where I passed on Fields based on their big board having a lot of guys rated pretty low still so I figured I could get value later.

I really hope we draft Jaret Patterson to pair with JRob. Would be the best backfield in the league and could keep both fresh. Best back in college

Because we don't have Patterson.

I kinda don't. Remember all the Michigan backs who ran for miles, and then had nothing left by the time they got to the next level?

I feat that his wheels are gonna be wore off. He's also not going to be running against Akrons and Kent States at this level.

That's the least of my worries.  Hes a junior and has had only 107 attempts this year.  How has it worked out for James Robinson?  What college do you think he came from?
After the Jets win today, we were gifted the #1 overall pick - and with that, it's time to resurrect this thread and make it relevant.

I'll say this: As fun as those things are, they are a lot more fun with us holdign the number 1 overall pick without having to trade up, with Trevor Lawrence on the board, without having to trade up to get him.

It's a lot of fun seeing 6 teams trying to trade up with you, knowing it's not even close to enough to justify trading down, and rejecting them outright.

I'm kinda partial to Michael Carter of North Carolina. He's small, but extremely elusive and has really good pass catching skills. I was thinking he and Robinson could form quite a duo.

Williams is great, but he is more of a lead back, whereas Carter is more of a complimentary guy, do to his size. Williams is probably the 3rd or 4th RB off the board, behind Harris, Etienne and possibly Hubbard. I'd take Williams over Hubbard though. North Carolina had a really explosive offense this year.
I'm big on Sage Surratt for some reason
(12-23-2020, 11:31 PM)JNev Wrote: [ -> ]I'm big on Sage Surratt for some reason

I am a HUGE Surratt fan. I was looking forward to him playing this season, but he opted out. That guy just catches everything thrown his way. He has great size and deceptive speed. I really think before it's over he could sneak into the first round. This kid is just immensely talented.

This could be the best WR class I've seen in years! Ja'Marr Chase is just amazing. He's the #1 guy. He had the best season of any receiver of recent memory. DaVonta Smith is nearing the same numbers Chase put up last season, Waddle was unstoppable before he got hurt, Rashod Bateman is really good, Terrance Marshall is really underrated, Kadarius Toney has been getting better every week and Rondale Moore is small, but he's a big play "machine" who reminds me of a young T.Y. Hilton.

In the mid rounds, I really like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Dyami Brown and Warren Jackson and my late round sleeper is D'Wayne Eskridge. There is a ton of talented receivers.
