We need to sign this guy. With Fournette saying he gonna work still and the defense replenished with young talent. A lethal wr Corp. We gotta a shot at 2017 season magic again.
I'd rather just roll with Minshew and if he doesn't make it through the season for some reason just tank with Dobbs.
New England seems like the perfect fit and scenario for him. It's one of the few places, if not, the only place really left in the NFL where he's practically a shoe-in to start. I could see the obvious connections here with us because of Jay Gruden and the need to have security behind Minshew.
But, they drafted another QB last weekend and they still have Dobbs on the roster. Doesn't seem likely they'll pursue Dalton. I would also say that a team like San Francisco and even Las Vegas might be interested in him to see if he would be willing to come in and compete with Garoppolo and Carr for their starting jobs.

I wonder where Andy will end up now. I've seen a lot of people suggest that he may come to the Jags or go to the Patriots.
The other team that jumps out, at least on this end, regarding the most likely teams Andy Dalton ends up with, is the Steelers.
With Big Ben coming off a season injury, being at an advanced football age, and the Steelers QB situation behind Big Ben being problematic, Dalton makes sense for them from a football standpoint. The key question appears to be salary cap ramifications. The Steelers currently only have a reported approximate $ 5.7 million in 2020 cap space.

Definitely a viable backup option that would bring experience into the qb room.
