Quote:You don't get it. Whether it was a sack, run for loss, failed screen, etc. resulting in the yardage loss does not make a difference to the kicker and offensive line on fourth down assuming it still would have been 52 yards.
If Bortles wouldn't have taken the sack it would have been a 47 yarder instead he took a sack and it was a 52 yarder.

Quote:Parnell did miss a block. However #69 got pushed back big time.Doesn't matter, #69(Tyler Shatley) blocked his guy. Parnell did not block the guy he was supposed to(didn't even touch him actually or anyone else), and that was the guy that made the block.

Why blame someone or any one person? The TEAM pretty much lost the game. That goes for the Head Coach on down.

Quote:we would have been better off punting inside their five.had the lead might as well have put them back deep with no timeouts and let our defense handle it.

On the Jaguars FG protection unit, did anything change from the previous 2 games in terms of personnel because of injuries?

I was saying what play made it 52 yards instead of 47 yards is irrelevant. Why don't other people get that?

Yes, the whole team lost, but you can squarely blame it on one player (Dante Fowler) because of the situation. Unimed down, FG missed, best kicker in the NFL. Justin Tucker never misses again after a defensive penalty. If #56 didn't jump, we would have won by one point instead of lost by two.

Just rewatched the game. The entire left side of the line collapsed. There's nothing Meyers could have done to avoid the block. That one was on the o-line.
Bb5's sack on 3rd down didn't help. But it really wouldn't have mattered either way... There were 4 ravens 5 yards into the backfield after the snap. The o-line betrayed us on that fg attempt.

Wouldn't matter if Myers makes his kick.

Yes it would. We lost by only two points.

Hard to make a kick when the entire left side of the line implodes...

Then we win by a point if he does. Probably four, since they wouldn't have gone for three there.

Winning games isn't easy, they'll figure it out soon.

Quote:Was it kicked low? Was it poor blocking?1. Blake Bortles for taking that stupid sack to back us up
2. The blockers for doing a horrible Job
3. Myers for kicking it super Low
4. Gus Bradley for going into a shell with less than 6 mins in the game
