Armed Robbery Arrest Warrants Issued for Two NFL Players

Police in Miramar, Florida, have issue arrest warrants for two National Football League players in connection with an armed robbery that took place late Wednesday.

The two men sought are New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar, according to ESPN.

There have been some wild stories coming out of the NFL recently. First the Telvin Smith, than the Earl Thomas/wife story, and now this one. (In addition to James Harrison publicly saying that Mike Tomlin gave him an envelope after he was fined $75,000 for a big hit he made against a Browns player.) A lot of players are getting into trouble during this quarantine/down sports period.

It's unfortunate these two players have gotten in trouble like this. They both have had opportunity to be apart of the NFL, Dunbar has been in the league for a few years now and Baker was a first round pick, last year for the GIants. It was mentioned in articles that this was over a gambling debt of $70,000 for them. (Lost in high stake card games). The debt is high but even taken that into consideration, they still shouldn't have resulted into this. And it sounds like they made some really poor, head scratching decisions at the cookout where this happened. It looks like neither one of them have yet to turn themselves in. Here is another article detailing more of what happened during this robbery.
