Yeah, but isn't it kind of a good thing if those types out themselves early?

Like that awful racist Drew Brees?

Drew Brees is so 2017.  j/k.   Good dude.  The only one that is still bitter is Malik Jackson who stated he was looking forward to playing against Bress.  Given Malik has 3 sacks in the past 2 years, i don't think Brees is losing any sleep over that.

It is possible that Malik is reverse racist? Has to at least be ten, maybe twenty?  BUT, was Brees badly wrong? people feel how they feel, skin color doesn't change that. Good thing he was straightened out on how to feel.

One universal truth about revolutions: they always overshoot, and innocent people always get hurt.  That is true even if the revolution is justified.  It happened even in our sacred American revolution- perfectly innocent people got tarred and feathered for saying the wrong thing, or being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or just for having a job working for the British government.

What is happening to Brees is a perfect example.  I can't find anything wrong with what he said.  I disagree a bit.  He cares about people kneeling; I don't.  But he shouldn't have to apologize.

Being opposed to someone kneeling during the national anthem doesn't make you a racist. It makes you totally anti-First Amendment, but not a racist.

The First Amendment doesn't apply there.  The First Amendment reads, "The government shall make no law..." so unless the government is making a law restricting free speech, the First Amendment has nothing to do with it.  And since Drew Brees is not the government, and he certainly isn't making, or advocating the making of, any law against kneeling, but just expressing his opinion, it has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

No it doesn't make you totally anti-First.
Not really sure which thread this goes.  But I’ll be the first to say that all the [BLEEP] happening right now I really don’t agree with.  The “true” brutality from police as well as the (what I deem) faux hatred/racism from both sides.  I’ll take heat for that.  Give it!  But with what’s going on it’s opened my eyes a tad.  Okay, we all apparently hate each other.  Whatever, not my experience but what can I do?   So I started waiving to all blacks and all the police I see.  Maybe I make someone feel better, idk, probably not.  But if so, great.   I admit, my area of town is well, “blessed” for lack of other words.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I am rich.  But there are many around me that are.  But every Thursday since the shutdown there’s been a black woman walking down the street that has been waiving to us.  No big deal until I reaized she waived to the car behind us.  And so on.  Okay, great.  Thank you ma’am for brightening our day for the random act of friendliness.  Well, fast forward, and we now have this race thing.  I’ll tell ya what, we made sure we dropped our heavily tinted windows to return the waive the last 2 weeks.  Thank you for uplifting us and hopefully our obvious return of friendly gesture gives it back upon you.  Why can’t we all be like this?  I saw a black man at my local Home Depot today.  He was wearing a Vietnam Veteran hat and a face mask and a shirt that read “proud to serve” along with the army seal and other stuff I couldnt read. I stopped and thanked him for his service.   I may be lucky in my area.  I’m pretty sure I am.  But [BLEEP] get it together people.  I just wanted to share that since I’ve been uplifted and
Trying to pay it forward.  We’re
All human.  Let’s just get along and WORK for our accomplishments rather than be owed it.  Let’s be kind and nice even to those that don’t. I may take a few points off my far right card but I don’t give a [BLEEP].

Used to be the south had less racial harmony than the north.  Now it has more.

Truth be told, I don’t give a [BLEEP] about racial harmony.  Let’s just be humans.  Treat each other as such.  The black white thing, I’m not interested.  I don’t see other minority groups protesting.  The Asian, Hispanics etc.   we’re all human. Let’s treat each other as such.  And reciprocate it.  ALL SIDES!
