This is what we are getting.  Because Blake plays mainly in shotgun.  If ends up Fournette.  Fine I am on board.  But based on our oline and Blake under Shotgun.  Here is everyone's favorite Fournette.

And I stick with he does not fit in our offense.  Could be a great running back or bust.  But this is evidence of what we get based on our offense.  Regardless of what sports writers or media says.  Fournette would not be the answer.   But if he is drafted.  Hope in a way stronger and faster league.  He can get better.

This video was already posted in it's own thread with multiple pages of conversation and the last three replies in that thread are from you.

Show me a video of a running back who doesn't get tackled in the backfield.

Quote:Reminds me of Adrian Peterson. He isn't a cutback runner which is the norm today, but he's an old-school back who gets positive yards on all these plays. The few times he is met in the backfield, all backs would have the same result, it happens.

Didn't they say that Fournette's High School career he ran out of shotgun most of the time and excelled at it?

There's a reason he's the highest rated back this year
I like Fournette but I see more Darren McFadden than Adrian Peterson. I'm wary of him in the top 5...

Hey, more Fournette.  Spam from TTR.

Surprising.

mcfadden isn't running through and over anyone... those 2 aren't alike at all

Maybe we shouldn't have blake in shotgun so much, as he was pretty awful in it... just maybe, having a RB threat and play action threat might actually help him as teams wont be able to tee off with no running threat

Blake has always been at his best in play action and on the move. Fournette just makes so much sense, whether TTR agrees or not

Team has preached their priority is giving help to Blake.  We'll have to wait and see who the first selection is, then ask ourselves... "how does this fit the plan to help Blake?"

This!! X10
My opinion of Fournette now is slightly adversely distorted since he took a step backward last year due to his lingering ankle injuries throughout the season.   2 years ago, I would have been 100% sold on the pick.

That said, I'm ok with the pick if that's the direction the Jags go.  Just hope he can get back to true form and remain healthy.

Bust.
